I haven't been following this kangaroo court too closely, but I don't think any evidence was submitted in support of the 1st count.

GoChiefs won't win this case. Shoot, he's the only reason I'd even consider voting "Innocent". mecca will lose, but it won't because of GoChiefs.

Hmmmm, I wonder if I yelled "Shoot GoChiefs!" if the bailif would actually draw and fire.:hmmm:

No. These are highly trained and professional law enforcement professionals.

On the other hand, if you yelled "GoChiefs has a gun!".....

I'm a legal clerk. I have finely tuned perception from years of working with the judge.

Crap....I sense the Judge want's his pump and a copy of Red-n-Ready.

Halfcan 11-02-2006 06:48 PM

This trial is a farce-Mecca should be cleared of all charges.

I didn't know Steve Winwood swung that way. I never cease to wonder at what one can learn here at Chiefsplanet.

;)

BTW- After watching Jericho last night, you'd better plan on moving from Larry-town before 2009.

Is the Judge ever going to come out of his chambers? I'm getting really tired of listening to the pump.

Well, maybe it's better here. My room at the hotel has a smell like something's rotting. Maybe I should check the bathroom.

Rainmans mom is like this monkey trial....I feed that bitch a banana every night, vines are not only a costume prop they are a necessity to hoist her elephant ass off the ground, she loves in when I dress up like a zookeeper and "cage" her, and by the time I get done with her she has evolved into a "howler" monkey.

PastorMikH 11-03-2006 03:28 PM

Jeesh, just like the bomber threads.

If the defense were on the ball, they'd go for dismissal on the grounds that their client is being denied his constitutional right of a quick and speedy trial.

Banishment is harsh. We should just put Mecca on the practice squad to make room for Welbourn.

JimNasium 11-03-2006 03:50 PM

I've been too busy to keep up with this thread. Are the jurors supposed to be doing anything? Is it too early to vote guilty?

Rain Man 11-03-2006 04:12 PM

Um, your honor? <disinterested third party in the seats in the balcony raising his hand> I don't believe the prosecution ever answered the questions you directed them to answer regarding whether these charges are even viable. I am very interested in this question as well and believe the jury should hear the answers (even though they look like they are ready to convict either way).

This is a good point. However, upon viewing the motion, this judge rules that Chiefsplanet jurisprudence overrides American jurisprudence, and there was enough de facto evidence and public outrage to warrant the charges. Therefore, the charges stand unless the defense can somehow produce a better case than did the prosecution.

HERE! HERE!!!

The problem so far is, other than tricking Mecca into speaking, the Persecution, er, uhm Prosectution really hasn't given us enough reason to justify our guilty vote.

Since Mr. chagrin was not called to the jury, he may participate as a witness, so long as he swears to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help him God unless the court isn't allowed to use that last phrase any more in which case it would be so help him any particular Supreme Being, celestial object, animal, tree, concept, or philosophy that he uses to set his life course.

I'll allow it. I want to see where the defense is headed.

Redrum_69 11-06-2006 12:25 PM

My first question to luv is...

Have you used any form of sportsdrink to rectify a plausible cause?

Redrum_69 11-06-2006 12:33 PM

All I am trying to do is show that mecca might have been under the influence of grape gatorade. Everyone knows that in small quantities grape gatorade is a headache remover, but in large doses can cause severe panic attacks and sometimes individuals have lost their memory.

Clearly if luv has used or been the subject of grape gatorade then the defense can clearly state that mecca was most likely induced with some form of sportsdrink, in this case grape gatorade, which clearly wiped out his memory.

Redrum_69 11-06-2006 12:47 PM

And here we are again, the prosecutor searching for something to say..."googling" no doubt for some witty comeback

Rain Man 11-06-2006 12:55 PM

The witness shall answer the question.

No. I've stated clearly on here on several occasions that grape Gatorade has put my stomach at ease on a few occasions. Never have I said I drink it when I have a headache. Someone offered to bring me some Gatorade when I was drinking one night. That never actually happened, though.

Next question?
