Maybe watching it online later killed it for me, but I was disappointed in the show. The dancing advertisement act wasn't nearly as funny to me as the veganvillle sketch. I've never liked the Barry Gibb sketch (probably because my introduction to it was at a high school variety show where some students butchered it). I don't know. Just wasn't that great, and I love JT and Fallon together.

I didn't say that. I said she is out of shape. I think that's clear. To say that this chick has a "great bod" is just plain idiotic. |

While I really hate "The Political" Alec Baldwin, I really love "The Actor" Alec Baldwin and think he is great at his craft.
Two of the funniest skits ever on SNL and both feature Alec. How the hell he didn't break up laughing and kept it together during these long skits is amazing! <iframe width="640" height="360" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" src="http://screen.yahoo.com/embed/alec-baldwin-snl-skits/canteen-boy-scoutmaster-000000635.html"></iframe> <iframe width="640" height="360" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" src="http://screen.yahoo.com/embed/snl-holiday-skits/nprs-delicious-dish-schweddy-balls-000000088.html"></iframe> |

And I've NEVER not liked him in an acting role, comedy, drama, matinee idol, he's a pro. But the guy has to start owning up to an anger and entitlement problem. It's not just intrusive paparazzi, he goes off on 'insolent' offspring, and clingy ex-flings with equal vitriol. |
Kate McKinnon's Bieber was WAAAY funnier than I expected to start of the show.
Between this and her Ann Romney, she is truly talented. And I had no idea Drake was a . . . . Romney-ite. But then, I knew nothing whatsoever about Drake. |
I think I'd like to bang the bejesus out of Kate.
and for some reason, Nasim cracks me up. I don't think she's in nearly enough skits. |

The cold open was awesome
But I think Melissa McCarthy and Ricky Gervais were seperated at birth. http://www.pilkipedia.co.uk/wiki/ima...esDennis01.jpg |
BANG!!!
Now it smells like old dookie in a bag and new dookie in pants. Possible the hardest I've laughed at SNL in recent memory. And I truly love Keenan and Jay's Shaq and Charles. |

I assumed. He never really got too many roles. The only lead I remember him having(didn't watch a terrible amount this season, too busy), was as the exterminator with Edward Norton.
He never really seemed to fit. |
Guess reality says Don Pardo has to be replaced;

Heres a thread I havent seen for a while, guess I just havent thought much of this show lately...all the people who always say "its not funny anymore" are finally right IMO, its really not very good right now.
Its never been less of a must see show for me than it is now, and thats sad. |
I don't think I've watched this show since 2000 or so.

I've known Brooks forever. I wrestled Brett for 3rd and 4th at state wrestling as a 6th grader and we hung out outside of wrestling after that. Got to know Brooks through that. When we were in 8th grade, Brooks, who was in 4th grade at the time, made the finals and wrestled future Univeristy of Iowa wrestler, Ryan Morningstar. Brett and I were coaching Brooks in his corner during that match. He lost, but gave him a decent run. After Brett and I graduated, the Wheelan family moved to the city where I went to college (and was wrestling at), which was Dubuque. He went to Dubuque Hempstead. Brett wrestled a bit with us in practice and after practice, sometimes I would hang out with the Wheelan family. I chilled with Brooks quite a bit. At the time, he had just made it a goal of his that he was going to pursue stand-up. He was in the middle of making this short film for school called, "Rollin' N the Dubz." During that time, he was really into Mitch Hedberg, Kevin Smith (primarily the movie "Mallrats" at the time) and Mr. Bean of all people... He really liked the stuff Bean did prior to becoming somewhat known in the states. Some pretty fun times. Hung out with Brooks a bit while he was in college at the University of Iowa. Even hung out with him during Halloween in which he and another guy were dressed up as the Mcpoyle brothers from "It's Always Sunny" and I was Green Man (Charlie from "It's Always Sunny.") He and his bro came down to SEI, which is where I am from...Brett a bunch of times, Brooks once. He did some standup in Burlington, which is the "big city" in my region and was heckled a bit by some of the hill-rods who were in attendance. The area I am from is more or less, "Hickville." I don't think they "got" his routine. I thought he had a really funny bit about drunk texting his grandma and his grandma freaking out because she thought he was a robot. He was only up there for a few minutes. Anyways, Brooks is a nice dude. Comes from an extremely nice family. One of my favorite families. It was pretty cool watching him do his thing last year... You should check out the shout out that Judd Apatow gave him after he was fired from SNL via twitter.... He may have a future yet. |
Thanks Baby Lee.
Cool story Rico. |

I haven't been a fan for a long time. Since Ferrell was a cast member. I guess I'm one of "those guys" now. "SNL sucks now. It was so much better back when blah blah blah".
I ****ing love the MacGruber movie though. Hated the sketches. |

Thinking about Prince being on tonight, I would LOVE for Armisen to come back and do his Prince with the real Prince, that would be a riot. |
Killiam and Moynihan are good, but all the elite talent on SNL is on the female side right now. The only weak female in the bunch is Zamata, or whatever her name is, and she was a hurried, poorly-thought-out midseason addition last year. Every other female is extremely talented.
|
Kate McKinnon and Taram Killian are probably the best talents on the show right now.
Then you have Moynihan and all the other females. They're that good. |

I've never seen that guy NOT be funny, his Steve Harvey always brings me to tears. |
Different strokes. Especially when it comes to comedy.
I happen to think Kenan's a good bit player in the right parts, nothing more. But that's me. |
I happen to think Kenan's gym teacher in the Jay Pharoah "attention teacher's and students" skits is hysterical.
