Wow, KU has scored more points in a half against NU than Missouri could do in an entire game. ROFL

No, I was just being a smartass. A certain MU fan compared our defensive points allowed against NU to what MU did. Both comparisons are ridiculous for obvious reasons.

What is your deal? You are a Missouri football fan. Let me repeat, a Missouri football fan. You act like Missouri is a Ohio State or a Michigan of college football. They aren't. I don't know why it is so hard for you to say Kansas has a good squad this year.

Sure our defense has played bad today, but we are still beating the crap out of Nebraska anyway. Last couple weeks it was our defense, this week it is our offense. That's what good teams do. Kansas is well balanced on both sides of the football.

It took KU two quarters to score 41 points, when it took Missouri 4 quarters to do so. KU has scored 48 points in ONE half of football.

Get off your freaking high horse for the love of god. Both teams are good, embrace it. I don't want Missouri to lose until Arrowhead. If I was a Missouri fan I would wish the same of KU. If either team doesn't lose again until Arrowhead, that is going to help their BCS rankings. Call me crazy, but I'm actually rooting for MU (kind of) to win out until Arrowhead.

Lzen 11-03-2007 12:22 PM

In case anyone was curious, the most points that Nebraska has given up in a game is 70 to Texas Tech.

Frazod 11-03-2007 12:25 PM

Here's that great defense again.

KC_Connection 11-03-2007 12:25 PM

I remember that game a couple years ago. It was fun giving my coworker NU fan a lot of grief that week. :)

Lzen 11-03-2007 12:27 PM

KU playing the prevent defense again this week. I felt they went to it way too early last week. Same thing here.

Mr. Flopnuts 11-03-2007 12:27 PM

Lol. No, I think Mangino will have them kneel it. That is assuming Herford doesn't return the kickoff for a TD.

KSU finally stops a QB keeper on 3rd down.

Non-conference schedule of complete and total losers.

All non-conference games played AT HOME.

No Texas. No Oklahoma. One ranked opponent (barely) played.

Yet you fuckers strut around like you've actually done something impressive.

And I'm sick of hearing about it.

I think they had to just get points and go out on a positive note, considering their offense has scored 24 in the 1st half, they probably like their chances of scoring a little the 2nd half. Problem is, Neb. D isn't doing shit nad looking like the GROB defenses so they need a few TO's. 4th and 10 is very hard to make.

Spott 11-03-2007 12:32 PM

I wonder what the over/under for how many points scored today it will take for Callahan to get fired by Mondya.

ROFL I believe Tom Osborn when he said he was going to wait to the end of the year to make a decision. I'm sure he hasn't made up his mind.

Pitt Gorilla 11-03-2007 12:34 PM

Are some of Nebraska's defensive players hurt? I don't recognize some of the names. Also, I don't think I've seen their QB prior to this game.

KChiefs1 11-03-2007 12:34 PM

As a MU fan I'm actually very happy to see what KU is doing to NU. Why you ask?

I have full confidence that MU is going to win their next 3 games & I have no doubt KU is going to win theirs too.

I think it would be awesome to have an 11-0 KU vs 10-1 MU in Arrowhead Thanksgiving Weekend.

Could it get any better than that? WOW!

I hope you guys score 70+pts on the Nub's today.

That would be great, but I fear that MU will drop one prior to the matchup. Losing our starting safety doesn't help matters.

Yes their starting QB is out and their defense is depleted, esp in the LB position.

I would love for Callahan to stay there forever, but I think the over under for a firing this week will be 73 1/2. If KU scores 80, he'll probably have to walk back to Lincoln.

We actually scheduled real teams and road games for our non-conference schedule. We've also played three teams that were ranked when we played them, and beat two of them. The third, Oklahoma (which you don't even play) we played tough on the road.

Damn impressive? No. But not a complete and total travesty.

I hate to say it, but I finally found a reason to try out Simplex's little script. Normally, I don't have a problem with a certain poster. Normally, I like the guy. But he is pretty much unbearable these days, or at least during the games. He has become everything that he says he hates about KU fans.

It would actually be benificial for both team's BCS hopes for both KU and MU to win out before Thanksgiving. That could enable the winner to jump some teams ahead of them because of the strength of schedule.

I hate ku as much as Frazod spits it out, but i stand back and realize "wow this is kind've annoying" and stop and just be a real fan. I think i am just really ready for MU vs KU honestly but some KU fans are unbearable all the time, so i dont blame him in a way.
