They probably can, but I don't see Ohio St. being a team that comes from behind, at least IMHO.

If OSU can get some points out of this drive before halftime, that'll help them out alot.

The best band in the land :hmmm: I think I like the Eagles better.

Bearcat 01-07-2008 09:01 PM

Good news for OSU: LSU had to weather the storm.

Bad news for OSU: The forecast for the aforementioned storm didn't even make Katie Horner flinch.

As mentioned before me, I don't see OSU as a team with the ability to come back.... but, they're only a couple of big plays away. Last year at this time it was 34-14, so at least they aren't that far out of it.

Sam Hall 01-07-2008 09:05 PM

Time for the new head coach to bring the house in the second half

RNR 01-07-2008 09:05 PM

Crap I should have bet on the halftime kick contest! Oh well at least OSU won something.

The new staff was like a Christmas present for me. Bo even brought over one of KU's coaches that he knew from Youngstown. And you know, Bo doesn't read offenses, he stares them down until he gets the information he wants.

That little halftime conversation with Jamarcus Russell left me wondering how much the Raider's OC had to dummy down the playbook just to get him into a game...

I never thought Cally was a good choice. You are way better off IMO however he has his work cut out for him. This aint back in the day, NU will have a tough time recruiting and IMO will never be the power the once were.

Roughing the kicker gives LSU new set of downs.

OSU just keeps shooting their foot.

ClevelandBronco 01-07-2008 09:34 PM

I'm guess that guy isn't a physics major.

eazyb81 01-07-2008 09:34 PM

Why don't they just ban blocking punts if that's what they want?

That call was just embarrassing for the game of football. No way in hell that deserves an automatic 1st down penalty.

Bearcat 01-07-2008 09:36 PM

A bunch of personal fouls... I guess being undisciplined is what Buckeye fans call "ref help".

Down to the 4.... a couple of plays away from another boring bowl game.

That was a bit extreme. 5 yarder? Absolutely. 15 yards? I'm thinking not.

And it ended up resulting in a touchdown.

They are all outstanding gentlemen. :harumph: :p

I once saw an interview with a Kansas player on the Bill Self Show, and it was painful to watch. They really should have given him the questions in advance or something. That probably makes me sound high-brow, but I'm fully aware I wouldn't make it on the Kansas women's intramural basketball team, much less Self's bench.

Coach 01-07-2008 09:49 PM

Even though West Virginia lost, they should had been in this game. The WVU v. LSU match-up would have been better than this game.

This is like a re-run of last year's national championship game. I hope that those dumbf**ks coorporate chickenchokers finally realize that OSU cannot compete aganist a SEC or PAC 10 team.
