Before I moved here I didn't pay attention to KU, as is the case with most people not from around these parts. But the fans have made it very easy to root against the team. The bad part is, much like Duke, the fans make me hate the team, but the coach seems like a good enough guy I want him to win.

Its just trash talk between rivalries... Nothing more, nothing less....

OR

we went to 1 championship game, 2 final 4's, and 4 elite 8's.

It depends on whether you want to double-count a final 4 and 2 elite 8's, or only look at final results.

I understand that, but I have never been part of either rivalry, but I still hear about it all day long. Before I moved here heck I rooted for KU in the 88 Final Four to beat OU because I was tired of Stacy King and that old OU coach. I don't understand this logic. It seems to be the other way around. I know many people who have moved here and BECAME KU fans. When you move to a place where everybody embraces a certain team it promotes solidarity among people in a common area. That is a positive thing. KU fan's are known as very loyal, die hard, and most of the time classy fans.

The football game at Arrowhead was built up to be nasty... but all the KU guys I talked with (and there were a lot... the beer and all :)) were very cool. Hell, we even watched their stuff while they left to meet up with friends.

Kansas has lost to the National Champion 3 times in the last ten years, and the runner up twice; and according to your post, they've won a few big games, too. But wait, we should have 5 titles by now and be counting on #6! After all, look at the leaderboard of National Champions, it's not like they're hard to come by.

When I go to westport everything is pretty cheap. I payed 575 for blvd which was about standard at every place i went. I could have rented an snes game for a month for that chedda in st joe's video world
