yea, FX has been running these alot lately...im amped up! Its starting earlier this year. Previous years was Feb and March.
|
Haven't watched season 2 yet, it's set to drop January 3rd on DVD.
|
So is Shane a Marshall now, or some kingpin?
|
I read that Carla Gugino is joining the cast this year, as Raylan's bosses' boss. That will add significant hotness to the hotness that already abounded.

Season 3 premieres tonight!
Neal McDonough and Mykelti Williamson plays this seasons "Big Bads" |
Great Start. It will be hard to beat last season, but keeping the Faith.
"The Truth always sounds like Lies to a Sinner."- Boyd Crowder |
Freakin bada$$ opener tonight. This show is like a well oiled machine now. It's building up quite a nice little ensemble cast from all 3 seasons combined now.
Neal McDonough is gonna be a nice villain.
Spoiler!
|
Any scene between Raylan and Boyd is great.
|
Just watching it now. Actually working an extra hour so I can get some video work done while I watch.

How long before Boyd kills Dicky Bennett in jail?
|
Quote:
Boyd was still pissed that he wasn't allowed to deal with Dicky after Dicky shot and tried to kill Ava. What if Boyd got into the fight on purpose so as to get in jail to have a shot at Dicky while he was in there?? |

The show ended before a conformation of the kill. Looked like he took a hit in the shoulder to me..... |
Quote:
Wynonna: Does that hurt? Raylan: I'll manage. |
|
BOYD: Well, now if I found that kind of money, I’d be in Mexico by now.
RAYLAN: Boyd, I’ve been to Mexico. I don’t think you’d like it. BOYD: How so? RAYLAN: There’s a lot of Mexicans. |
I thought he'd shot him in the shoulder as well.

MoF, I've probably said as much more than once in this thread. |
Sweet...i hope Fletcher Nix isnt dead. They can bring him back like they did with Boyd who was originally supposed to die in the pilot. Its what i love about this show. They make even the secondary and side characters interesting. I actually like when they give the other Marshalls a little more airtime. Art, Tim and Rachael.

I'm kind of bummed, ratings for Justified were pretty low.

heh, Carla Gugino (Yes Please!) and Mykelti Williamson were great tonight.
Karen Sisco would be proud. : ) |
huh....i guess Gugino was really playing a disguised version of Karen Sisco....pretty cool!
Gugino's role as the mysterious Agent Goodall (whose married last name isn't what Raylan knows her by, and whose first name is never uttered, despite Tim Olyphant's best efforts to slip a "Karen" into the dialogue somewhere) is the show working around copyright a bit. Sony owns the rights to Raylan Givens, but not the other stars of the Leonard canon. But that can't stop "Justified" from featuring characters who are evocative of the others. And if you can get an actress who once played one of those characters in an underrated, short-lived TV drama, why not? I like the idea that Raylan and Karen used to work in the Miami field office together and hooked up after he divorced Winona. (Compared to most of the men Karen has been involved with on the page and screen, Raylan's a prince.) And I was glad to see Gugino sleep easily back into a role she owned for 10-odd episodes back in 2003. http://www.hitfix.com/blogs/whats-al...isco-i-presume |
Wow, I can't believe that show was from that long ago. That was another one in that long list of "it's a shame it was cancelled" shows from the last decade.

Badass end to the ep.

Just a great show.
|
So Devil thought he could pull one over on Boyd. ROFL
Damn, i love this show. The Writing and Dialogue is so good. |
It's amazing how consistently good Justified is. It's always ramped up. They don't need several "slow" episodes to build tension, etc.
|
"Well. growing old ain't for Pussies."- Raylan. I laughed out loud and like previously stated I can't believe how well written and acted this show is, I'm embarrassed for much of the rest of TV programming.
And the whole Devil trying to pull one on Boyd, was as mentioned earlier a joke. Boyds' dialogue is so amazingly over the top , yet natural. Unbelievable. |
none of the hot chicks made an appearance in this episode, except for the us marshall - who is cute, but isn't overt.
|
I can't wait for Limehouse to show more aggression and anger....with three villians this is turning out to be a bloody ending (I hope).
|
I have a question before last. In the three way standoff (2 with guns against Raylan with gun in his holster) how was it that one of the bad guys just didn't shoot him?
Unless there was a clue in the dialog that escaped me i found it to be a little hokey and a bit below this shows standards. |
Pretty crazy episode. Raylan must be a damn Super Hero. That kinda crossed the line of believability.
"Dear John" letter at the end? |

Last night's episode felt like the movie "Crank". But Neil McDonough's character interacting with Walk Goggins character for three minutes was perfect. Next week's looks very promising.

Last night's episode was weak.

YOU'RE WEAK. |
Last night's episode was not weak, just a filler to lead into next week's. I am ready for Raylen to snap, hopefully next week.

Why fake the removal of Dewey's kidneys, but plan on taking Raylan's for spending money on the run? Just take Dewey's and be off. You know he isn't going to successfully rob stores and bring you the cash. |
While I did enjoy the visual, I found no credible reason for the scene where Ava unbuttoned her shirt to show her bullet scar - other than gratuitousness.
|
They all can;t be winners, the past two seasons there has been a "down" episode or two. It is like said before, a "bridge" episode. It's no reason for alarm. After all it's Raylan for Christ's Sake.
|
Dewey may have been set up as a distraction to draw the marshalls away so that Juliet O'Hara could kill the guard.

Another great episode. Raylan was coming apart. Boyd seem to take to hear the threat from Raylan. And WTF Is going on, in that back bedroom? It's such a Terrentino moment.
Great writing once again. Hands down best show on Network Non Premium Cable. |
I like the traveling Oxy show. I'm surprised Delroy didn't know who Raylan was.
I guess they are setting up a good ole boys (black and white) against the carpet baggers finale. Who is the poor unfortunate soul tied to the bed? |

Anyone ever read the books? Does the show follow the books?
