(94)Donald Butler LB Washington (79 3rd round) Chargers 4. (126)Ed Wang OT Virginia Tech (140 5th round - OOPS) Buffalo 5. (159)Daniel Te'o-Nasheim DE Washington (86 3rd round) Philadelphia 7. (235)Simoni Lawerence OLB Minnesota (UDFA) 7. (237)David Pender CB Purdue (UDFA) 7. (243)Thomas Welch OT Vanderbilt (208 7th round) New England I'm pretty pleased with how this draft turned out for me. I had a couple of guys I took too early for the Colts, one of which I reached for, but I did a damn fine job for Seattle imho. I'm not too worried about UDFA's if I took them in the 7th round, especially as compensatory picks. Edit: Wang was only off by half a round, and Indy needs o-lineman. That really wasn't that bad. |
I won the draft. :p

Lions
1)Okung LT-They took Suh and I can't blame them, Okung went 6th overall. I made the Okung pick before they traded a pick to Seattle for G Rob Sims. After that trade it seemed clear that the powers that be in Detroit would stick with Screen Door Backus at LT. 2)McCourty CB/KR-Went to NE in RD 1(27th overall) 3)Alualu DT-went RD 1 to JAX (10th overall) 4)Tate RB-Went Rd 2(58th overall) to Houston 5)TJ Ward S-Went Rd 2(38th overall) to Cleveland 6)W. McFadden CB -Went Rd 5(138th overall) Oakland 7)G. Johnson DE-Undrafted, the Lions did take a DE in the 7th. It was the other player I was debating on taking for Detroit, Willie Young from NC St. 7)G. Graham TE-Rd 4(118th overall) to Houston Well fellas say what you will about the Okung pick but I totally owned this draft for the Lions. Giants 1)B. Graham DE-Went 13th overall to Philly. Jax should have taken him at 10. 2)D. Washington LB-Went Rd 2(47th overall) to Arizona 3)L. Houston DT-Went Rd 2 (44th overall) to Oakland 4)M. Petrus G-Went Rd 5(146th overall) to the NYG! I almost nailed it but was a round off, Jerry Reese and I agreed. Petrus is their type of O-lineman. 5)J. Skelton QB-Went rd 5(155th overall) to Arizona. Right round, wrong team 6)J. Ownes DT-Went Rd 7(243rd overall) to Philly. A one round reach for me. 7)C. Butler CB-Went Rd 5(164th overall) to Pittsburgh. This draft, while it may lack the sexiness that some of you crave, it is a clear home run for the G-Men. That does it for another draft season. This time around it was kind of like shooting fish in a barrel. |
