Just coming to the realization that I deserved a better life felt like an accomplishment. I can't wait until I'm to where you are now (in my field of study). Many, many props to you! Congrats!

Congratulations!

Wow, I think when I first met you, I was stretching my $9.50/hr seasonal job to a full time thing after college, and you were rebooting PCs or something....

Congrats! I would say good luck in all of your future endeavors, but you don't need luck! :thumb:

Of course, that is actually more of an accomplishment by my bankruptcy attorney.

either the women you date are just bad people or you got seriously burned by a woman in the past.

no one spews more hatred about marriage than you and sometimes i don't get it.

What are you doing on 8/28? I'll be up for the preseason game on 8/27. Maybe I could get you to fix a tatt for me before I leave town on Saturday.

That wedding wouldn't happen to be in November would it? I've got a buddy of mine getting married in Puerto Vallarta in November. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it 'cause I just started a new job and money's tight right now.

greg63 08-17-2010 07:51 PM

Well, I don't have anything to brag on myself about, but I do have this to say about my son Gregory:

He made the front page of the Sports section in the local news paper.

He's the one facing the camera. :)

Nah it is early next year.

NewChief 08-17-2010 09:11 PM

Just got a 3000 dollar grant to enter a certification program that will pay 50000 bucks over te next 10 years if I complete it.

RJ 08-17-2010 09:34 PM

The good news: I just started a new job that will increase my pay by about 75%. The owners of the company really wanted me there and made me an offer I couldn't refuse. The company is very stable and I'm doing the type of work I enjoy - general sales manager for a five store operation.

The bad news: Despite my being very clear with them during the interview process that my family is more important than my work, they seem to think I am going to be available 24/7. I'll be having this conversation with them again on Friday. If they don't like what I have to say it will be a short term employment. I have a strong work ethic but work is not the #1 priority in my life.

We'll see what happens.

I had sex with a girl for over an hour last night.

I literally ****ed her until she couldn't take it anymore.

I don't think i could ever get a tat. Needles and all. Plus i just couldn't do it anyways.

I like to check out others with tatoos and will comment in a positive manner about them, people like that a lot. They are a walking conversation piece actually i find.

Easy 6 02-21-2013 04:05 PM

Brag on myself, hmmm lets see... well, when i was fifteen i got arrested for public intoxication, pretty minor stuff for a kid that age... but it could've been a lot worse because i had a "baseball bat" style marijuana smoker in my boot that was stuffed with an eighth of weed.

So they sit me down in the fingerprint room and left for a few minutes to get paperwork, this room had one camera that slowly swept the room, so when it went past me i rushed over to an obviously unused desk just taking up space in the corner, underneath it were an old pair of shoes that hadnt been used in so long they had dust bunnies all over them, so i grabbed the bat and shoved it down into one.

Just seconds later the guy came in, printed and booked me, searched me and set me up with the ubiquitous orange jumpsuit and sandles, it was saturday night so i had to stay until monday.

So monday, mom comes to get me and i'm issued back my clothes and turn in the suit... after that lo and behold, they sit me back down in that same room while they clear up paperwork with good ol Ma... and yep, you guessed it, i ran back over to that desk and got my weed.

Walked right out of jail with it that day, gotta say, i felt REAL ****ing slick.

I was Kansas State Champion in vault (Gymnastics). I placed in the top 3 in all 6 mens events, and top 3 in All-Around. Qualified for Regionals; 5 states. Got 3rd in Pommel horse in 5 state region.

should've been higher on the PH, but got ****ed by the head judge. He over rules the others. one other judge wrote on the b ack of his carrd "Gymnast got screwed" lol. I still have it somewhere.

dowloaded and installed theh the data for the first GPS guided bomb (JSOW).

For something thats actually worth being proud of, i designed the C-130 airlift procedures for a piece of equipment called a SEE (small emplacement excavator) tractor for both Ft.Wainwright and Ft.Richardson AK.

The top operator for a given piece of equipment in the company had to do it, but i was the ony one who didnt have to have the major in charge change a single solitary thing... my work was 100% perfect.

The reward was doing three live missions where you load it up, fly map of the earth to a "battlefield" to demonstrate the validity of what we'd done and dig people into their positions and also a second army achievement medal to add to my fruit salad.

Oh, and let me tell you, map of the earth flying ****ING SUCKS.

Ecto-I 02-21-2013 04:32 PM

I like this idea...

I live a life most people DREAM about. I'm 29 years old and live in one of the best cities in America, San Diego. I work 2-3 hours a day, make a six figure salary, and have no boss. I travel sporadically and often, sometimes for work, but usually for fun because I work remotely - all I need is a computer and internet. Oh and I'm single, with no baby mamas ;)
