Just a FYI:
It's no coincidence that I have 5 RB's on my roster who are the bell cows of their respective teams. While I am willing to trade one of these backs, I'm unwilling to take some slapdick(s) in return. I'm deep at the position, and intend to stay that way unless someone offers a starting caliber WR as part of a deal. Thank you. Good night. And God Bless America. |

I'm sure as shit not giving up Brown and Benson for trash like Boldin and Meachem. I'll look at your roster though. |
I have a feeling there are going to be some very rb hungry teams in the league this year.
|
It sucks dick that after the draft.....Jonathan Stewart twists his ankle. Now I'm praying that Bradshaw and Lynch go down.
|

I'll just out it out there - Brown or Benson can be had, along with one of my WR's for a quality WR. If anyone is interested, you know what to do. If not, I'm perfectly content with my team as-is. I'm sitting pretty, IMO. |

Think I'm going to stay put. I like the way I have things set up. If I can upgrade slightly at WR, great. If not, I still feel I'm going to be a nightmare matchup on a weekly basis. |
just looking at the divisions.
I got pretty lucky being in the division that I am in. Hootie's team sucks and DaKcman has no rbs. I think i match up with all those other teams well. |

I'd let someone else take over Hootie's team.

It's set that way now, ready to roll. Figured since I still have LM access it was easier to just take a sec to fox it instead of PM'ing you to do it. |

He didn't. I'm more than happy to replace him, but who the hell is going to want that roster? I'll contact CrazyCoffey, I think he might be up to the challenge. |

That is what i would do. |
Anyone who thinks Hootie is going to take his team seriously needs to get their head checked. He checked out of the draft after MJD, Brees and Graham.

Sweet. I can't believe i actually got Shady's backup for $1. McCoy seems to get hurt enough to justify me owning his backup.
And Russel Wilson better be this year's Cam Newton. |
Just saw that ESPN now has a League Manager Toolkit that includes a "grading" of your league's draft.

LMAO
Exactly why I posted this. Sofa King can go in and verify that I didn't change any of the grades - this is exactly how it was spit out. |
I just checked. OTWP is mostly correct. He did however change my grade from an A++ to a C+.
That's ok though, because i really do fear success. |

I did not. |
Where'd you guys find that?

I challenge you all to find a team in this league as 4-deep at RB and WR as my team.
Trent Richardson DeMarco Murray Benjarvus Green-Ellis Beanie Wells (Michael Bush) Victor Cruz Antonio Brown Jeremy Maclin Reggie Wayne Nobody? Thanks for playing. (Seriously, guys, ****ing Hootie's been talking more trash than any of you. Get with the program and start crowing) |
NZoner is pretty good as well. He has me beat on RBs pretty solidly, but I have an edge on WRs.
Jamaal Charles Fred Jackson Doug Martin Ahmad Bradshaw Julio Jones Brandon Lloyd James Jones Doug Baldwin |
It doesn't matter how deep you are. It's how amazing your starters are. I have the best team in the history of Fantasy Football.

If your top 2 or 3 players crater, you're boned anyway. Depth is overrated in fantasy leagues. I have Rodgers and Rice - that's good enough for me, especially with AJ Green also in the fold. Oh, and when Ryan Williams takes the job from Beanie Wells, Floyd becomes the #1 in SD, Ryan Matthews comes back healthy and Britt returns as the destroyer of worlds he was becoming last season, you're all in trouble. The only truly horrific pick I made was Helu; I was price enforcing and quickly regretted it. That was money that could've salvaged my TE position. Or I could've gone after McFadden or Jackson instead of Matthews with the extra money. Just a very stupid pick on my part; a 'cheap' guy I grabbed out of frustration and immediately wished I hadn't. |

Brady is the only reason i ever won a 5th game. |
****ing figures.....both leagues that I'm in and the first game is against the team that I think is my toughest competition in the league.

This has likely been covered earlier in the thread, but it's not in the OP:
Is this a keeper league? If someone took over Hootie's team, would they inherit a better draft position next year? I might be interested, provided there's no financial detriment in doing so :D |

It's nice to finally have a decent stable of rb's but damn the decisions on who to plug in. :banghead:
That said not going to be a total homer this week and giving the nod to Bradshaw over Charles,at least for now. |

(hey guys, can you believe he's starting bradshaw over Charles? LMAO He doesn't know bradshaw tweaked his hammy and won't be getting as many carries, if any.) |
Steve Smith (Car)
Greg Jennings Anquan Boldin On the block. Looking for a RB. |
Rankings are based on a 10 team league instead of a 12. My grade is dropping significantly...
|
Goddammit.
Witten is active. Hard to sit the dude, Dallas is going to have to sling it. Not sure I wanna start him and Austin though. One of those guys is gonna be on the block soon. Pest, here's your chance. I'm about to do something stupid. |

Chris Johnson is officially on the block. My impatience is your gain.

If at some point someone needs a QB, I got Schaub and a guy who graded out perfectly yesterday on my roster. I need RB. That is all.

Who was the highest scoring team in week 1?

FAAB auctions do not work like Dutch auctions (your bid goes up to the highest amount necessary) rather they work like silent bid auctions - if you win, you pay what you bid. So in the scenario you posted, Team A pays $40 because he won the bid with that figure. It encourages intelligent, but not reckless, bidding. Otherwise you'd just bid over what you think his actual value is and let the Dutch Bid bail your ass out. |
DJ is 100% correct.

Besides who the hell else am I going to acquire besides a replacement defense? Our benches are 9 deep. Most people on here shouldn't even need to go to the waiver wire besides to buy/sell backups hoping they'll be future starters one day. |
