Hmmm...2nd interviews usually mean you get the job right? Unless theyre trying to get him to stay as the DC

SAUTO 01-01-2013 09:47 PM

So they interviewed Horton YESTERDAY?

Another instance of reporters being wrong? It was reported he interviewed this afternoon, and this morning

O.city 01-01-2013 10:00 PM

IMO, if your players are beating the drum FOR a coach, I'd lean away from said guy.

jd1020 01-01-2013 10:01 PM

You don't think it worked out for the Chiefs?

Which they pretty much all do. Ultra-competitive people.

Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter
Former Eagles HC Andy Reid is traveling to and interviewing with Cardinals on Wednesday.

Looks like it Wednesday now

AussieChiefsFan 01-01-2013 11:16 PM

oh wait...

ProFootballTalk ‏@ProFootballTalk

Scumbags? It's their job to report what they hear.

You're a ****ing idiot.

ShowtimeSBMVP 01-01-2013 11:19 PM

ProFootballTalk ‏@ProFootballTalk

The agent has an interest in characterizing the Reid interview as happening sooner in order to get other teams to poop or abandon pot.

Gravedigger 01-02-2013 12:13 AM

Yeah love how Schefter's league source is telling him 95% then ESPN has the title changed on their main page to "Reid: Candidate for Cardinals"

Hoover 01-02-2013 12:15 AM

this is where Twitter and the constant need for new news hurts reporting.

Agree with that.

Love the speed of it, but has its negatives.

Agreed. I believe Reid was disappointed he had to move him out of Philly - However, Reid did throw him under the bus - After Kolb was injured, he lost his starting job and never got it back. Although, Reid helped him get an amazing contract offer in AZ -

In his two seasons with the Cardinals, Kolb has been healthy for 15 games and had a series of injuries and concussions. He is owed $11 million if they decide to keep him. Not sure, the team will pay that kind of money to a quarterback that cannot stay healthy.

I will say this: Reid is a great quarterbacks coach. He will hire Marty Mornhinwig as an offensive coordinator and Juan Castillo as an offensive line coach.

Mornhinwig and Castillo are excellent offensive coaches.

All NFL:
2006 Offense Ranked 2 (*McNabb, *Garcia, Feeley)
2007 Offense Ranked 6 (*McNabb, Feeley)
2008 Offense Ranked 9 (*McNabb, Kolb)
2009 Offense Ranked 11 (*McNabb, *Kolb, Vick)
2010 Offense Ranked 2 (*Vick, Kolb)
2011 Offense Ranked 4 (*Vick, *Young, Kafta)

*Missed games due to injury

Goodbye Andy! Goodbye Mornhinwig! Goodbye Castillo! R.I.P. Jim Johnson.

Happy you are not coaching in the NFC East division.

Reid will now be tormenting Harbaugh.

See this is why I like Andy Reid, for at least a decade he dominated the NFCE. That is a tough devision to get along in. They beat each other up in that division more than any other imo. Andy did a super job in thad division & I think he would be great against rival teams in our division.

What? I said I didn't know a lot about him but that he's a guy we should strongly consider. How is that having a boner for him? The under the radar new guy I've had a boner for s Gus Bradley.

I knew it was BS!!! I'm glad I was right for a change.
