No 5Ghz wireless? That's kind of disappointing.

Watch Dogs looks kick ass the more I look into it.
If PS4 is out before that game, i'll just wait to pick up the PS4 until the game is released. |

Still strange they did not reign in Destiny.. |

Which seems more plausible, because Sony would not want you playing old games.. They want you to pay for them again.. |
I didn't realize Watch Dogs was a next gen title. I was incredibly impressed with the game and the graphics when it popped up in the E3 thread last summer. I remember arguing with someone unimpressed about how legit the graphics were. The game looked brilliant in the E3 demo.

I'll buy it at any price.

the PS4 will be $500. The second dual shock will just cost you $200. ;)

http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2013/0...t-april-event/ Reports: Microsoft planning to unveil Xbox successor at April event With Sony jump-starting the next-generation console hype train with its PlayStation 4 reveal this week, it seems Microsoft might not be willing to wait for June's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) to unveil its follow-up to the Xbox. Computer & Video Games is reporting that Microsoft is planning a "one-off media event" to show off its new system in early April, based on information from unnamed sources inside and outside of Microsoft. VG247 has corroborated CVG's information, saying it has "also received word of the April event," and National Alliance Securities analyst Mike Hickey has previously said he expected Microsoft to announce its console successor in April. Internet sleuths on gaming forum NeoGAF have noted that the company that helped organize Microsoft's E3 2012 media briefing registered the domain XboxEvent.com just yesterday, suggesting that, um, an Xbox event might be in the works. Practically the entire professional game industry will be gathered together in San Francisco at the end of March for the Game Developers Conference, which would also seem like a natural time for Microsoft to reveal its next-gen plans to an interested audience. Then again, Microsoft could use GDC as a sort of pre-tease tease, letting slip certain small, developer-centric details before a fuller April event. One thing seems clear: every day people spend talking about the PS4 without any solid information on Microsoft's response is probably being seen as a bit of a missed PR opportunity in Redmond |

The lag of a multiplayer or online game would kill a game trying to render that for smooth playing.. And for solo offline play, those type of graphics would have insane loading times which would piss players off.. Now, they will probably try and combine both aspects and only send packets of simple data over the system and then render them for online play. But that would be some serious load times still.. Games are going to look way way better, but not like that video is demonstrating on a whole for an entire game possibly looking like that.. For both consoles.. |
