Just watched his 2012 games. Major arm and makes some amazing throws. Also takes way too many chances. He actually reminds me of the young Brett Favre when he would sling it everywhere and make amazing throws followed by amazingly stupid throws.
Should be fun to see if he develops. |

If you can get him to play under control, then you have a guy with the arm talent to make plays, ala Brett Farve of '95-'96. The problem is that you don't know if he reverts back to the same on field idiocy that he exhibited in school. Brett Favre reverted to the dumbass he was as soon as Mike Homgren left, and he cost the Pack a bunch of games, including a number of playoff games. |

May be the best rookie QB the Chiefs have had the 25+ years I've been following the team.
Kid has a long way to go, but he'll have time to develop naturally and not have to be thrown into the fire. |

If anybody wants a realistic comparison for Bray, I'd compare him to a young Jeff George. Million dollar arm and a ten cent brain. Unlike a few of you, I don't want him any higher on the depth chart than third string this season. He needs to take the entire season to adapt to the speed of the NFL, learn the playbook, and get used to superior talent at virtually every defensive position.
We have the coaching staff with a respectable record of developing QB's, and Bray already has all the physical tools to keep defenses honest. IF (and that's a big if) these important intangibles can be taught to Tyler, we'll have one heck of a QB by 2015. |

I used it and it looks like it was in December. And it was for everyone to see. Baseless claims that it was 2 years for are null because there's no proof.

Gotta trust that Andy Reid can identify the weaknesses Bray has and try to formulate complex plans to deal with eliminating them and building up his strengths.

Chiefs give undrafted QB Tyler Bray a chance
Chiefs signed Tennessee QB Tyler Bray. Bray (6-foot-6 1/8, 232) has arguably the best arm among all draft-eligible quarterbacks. But 11 signal-callers heard their name called over the last three days, and Bray wasn't among them. He has a tendency to tank under pressure, was injury prone despite being a three-year starter at Tennessee, has major accuracy concerns, and offers an off-field track record not dissimilar from Ryan Mallett's. Bray remains highly intriguing because of his ideal build and ability to drive the ball with velocity and power. Bray might have more long-term upside than Alex Smith's current backup, Chase Daniel. |

Good pick-up.
Should be the Chiefs third string/developmental QB this year. |

Tyler Bray can drink a full, sonic Route44 mixture of rootbeer float and black cock keychains.

A good end to a miserable draft season.

Sorry, but running backs that fumble once a game, get hurt a lot and have averages per rush under 3.5 ypc arent worth third round picks. Give me Marcus Lattimore or the kid from UCLA over this chump ANYDAY. |

Bray's first order of business as a Chief is to pack up Stanzi's locker.
|
Running backs have a short shelf life anyways nonetheless ones with injury concerns. I like Knile but damn.

Watching Rocky get some and signing Bray..FTW!

This guy is all over the place. It's no wonder he went undrafted. He'll make a great throw and then follow it up with an unbelievably poor throw. Hopefully he can put it together for us.

CC...you should start a Knile Davis thread.
|
I'm interested to hear Dorsey/Reid comments on him, even if it is mostly just the generic things that coaches say about UDFA's invited to camp.

Attention Clark Hunt:
Please note the jubilee around a QB that was passed on 250+ times in the draft. Get a clue and demand we draft one in your lifetime. Knows it will never happen, Bewbies |

In the Tennessee spring game a couple of years ago, he went 5-30 passing. That's not a typo. That's hard to do. |

So is he the hillbilly version of Ryan Leaf ?
I think Andy/John decided to throw a bone for the fan base and especially for certain CPers here in signing him:p Your thoughts. Hell, I hope he works out but Andy won't tolerate any Ryan Leaf BS. |
