but don't think the fans will forget if he struggles He better NEVER say anything about needing fan support etc ... he made his choice. |

I also expect Alex Smith to end up doing gay porn in his cop-stache and a pair of leather chaps one day.
Just so you know. |

I thought this was a joke until I read your subsequent post. Serious question: Is there a "Bubble" in which you people live and where is it located? Also, weren't you one of the ****ing biggest assholes on Chiefsplanet pimping Geno Smith? LMAO If so, you know less about QB's than Marcellus. |

Wearing the hat to the beach = extremely minor He couldve seen the whole thing blow away by apologizing and just saying he supports the NFL , has friends in Miami blah blah blah...and then not doing it again but he had to spout off it will probably blow over, especially if he tears it up....but this could be one of those things....that sticks with him |
I'll just say this, if it were a Chiefs QB I'm not okay with it in the least bit.
I don't even wear stuff from other NFL teams. I don't allow my kids or wife to. Never ever. If I were the HC the first time I caught wind of it I would have called him and told him to burn it and make a public apology immediately and never do it again as long as you are on my team. |
Especially, as someone pointed out earlier, if he has a sophomore slump and the offense sputters.

But Man, I can't seeing Rodgers, Brady, Bree's or Manning's doing this and their teammates saying, it's all cool. I was just on Lids.com last night and got me some new teams myself :spock: |

Guys just signed? Guys on the final year of their deal? Guys signed to fill out the 90 man roster? You're ****ing utterly clueless. |

It was just a comment based more towards MY passion other than what I do or don't let them do. But I don't watch Chief games with other fans in my cave. Not fun. |
Quote:
But in this case when it's the teams starting QB? And he is cemented in as a young Franchise guy of the future. If you think that's okay? There is no hope for you. |
Quote:
I'm not as crazy as you think. I just don't think it's right to have my starting QB wearing another NFL colors. Not to much to ask. |
Quote:
Goddamn you are posting stupid along with Dane and OTWP. Do you want YOUR QB wearing another teams gear? The simple answer is NO and you would have to be a ****ing idiot to do it in the first place. Its dumb dumb dumb and anyone who cant see that is dumber than Kap is. The fact this is a debate tells you how ridiculous some of you are around here. I have had 5 casual discussions with friends and family members today just asking them about their thoughts on this and they all immediately thought what an idiot. Its not even a difficult concept yet people here are sticking up for the guy, its hilarious. If Dewayne Bowe or Alex Smith did this it would be an uprising bigger than than LJ ever saw. Fire up the plane Smith was wearing a Packers hat, we need a sign over Arrowhead. The hypocrisy of this place is just unbelievable. |
I'm honestly done with this foolishness. Yall will waste moments of your life trying to make people believe he's in the wrong. More power to ya. Peace.
|
If you sign a contract with an NFL team. That player should have respect and appreciation or that team signing him and paying him to play football for that team. Wearing another teams gear is not showing appreciation or respect for what that team has done for him and what those players that have came before him that have also allowed him this opportunity.

In Public Relations land, it doesn't matter whether he is justified or not in doing it. If a lot of fans are getting upset, you better believe that "he" will release a plastic sounding statement apologizing for his actions.
|
Quote:
I am certain there will be conversation with him about it from his coach. I know certain members of CP wouldn't do anything about it or address the issue but the coach that everyone here knows is a genious and showed that in benching Smith will address it with his QB. Ironic I know. |

Dane you KNOW you are wrong on this and you can call all my friends, family, and me idiots, it still doesn't change that.
You are a contrarian at heart and have to just beat the drum for the "other side". Its in your nature, I suppose the west coast has made you soft. Your rediculous post in the Hernandez thread could only point to this fact. And yea its a fact. (Hernandez is OBVIOUSLY guilty as **** Dane, circumstantial case at this point or not, get a grip on it there is not one need to try to pick away at the DA's case, its lock solid). JFC you have SDH backing you. What other proof do you need you are being stupid? |

JFC dude. I answered your question and you are being an idiot because you seriously have no defense of your opinion at this point. |
Quote:
It's a non-story that is getting run because people like you live through sports teams and don't realize that these athletes couldn't care less about the shit that you care about. His teammates aren't going to be pissed at him. If anything, they're going to laugh at him for riling up a bunch of bald guys with goatees who have nothing better to do than bitch about what baseball hat some 23 year old dude they've never met wore to the beach one day. When a 23 year old QBs the Chiefs to the Superbowl, he can wear a pink bikini with swastikas on it to the beach as far as I'm concerned. |

How many times are you going to post the same, dumb, stupid, asinine quote? |
Quote:
And you have no idea about the bolded part, no way to know that. I would be irritated and I am certain many of his teammates are. More about his response than the original act. I am not nearly as shocked at how stupid Kap is as I am how stupid people on CP are defending him. Does that register to you? |
