Accept that he is acknowledging his CLEAR superior, and give him props for at least having enough brains to know it.

I think if it were me I'd keep it all so when my coaching run ended I'd have some cool swag from coaching days. I still have old polo's from my old company I worked at for 20 years...but I never wear them to my new job. Bad form.

I don't think Colin's going to walk into the stadium rocking a Dolphins cap.

I expect him to be right back in the hunt again. Teams that value the QB position and acquire players based on talent tend to go that way.

I'll just say this, if it were a Chiefs QB I'm not okay with it in the least bit.

I don't even wear stuff from other NFL teams. I don't allow my kids or wife to. Never ever.

If I were the HC the first time I caught wind of it I would have called him and told him to burn it and make a public apology immediately and never do it again as long as you are on my team.

Cannibal 07-07-2013 08:39 PM

Well it's really not all that big of a deal. My one son doesn't like sports, neither does my wife and the other son, luckily as been a Chief lifer since the day he was born with no problem.

But in this case when it's the teams starting QB? And he is cemented in as a young Franchise guy of the future.

Goddamn you are posting stupid along with Dane and OTWP.

Do you want YOUR QB wearing another teams gear?

The simple answer is NO and you would have to be a ****ing idiot to do it in the first place.

Its dumb dumb dumb and anyone who cant see that is dumber than Kap is.

The fact this is a debate tells you how ridiculous some of you are around here. I have had 5 casual discussions with friends and family members today just asking them about their thoughts on this and they all immediately thought what an idiot.

Its not even a difficult concept yet people here are sticking up for the guy, its hilarious.

If Dewayne Bowe or Alex Smith did this it would be an uprising bigger than than LJ ever saw.

Fire up the plane Smith was wearing a Packers hat, we need a sign over Arrowhead.

The hypocrisy of this place is just unbelievable.

If you sign a contract with an NFL team. That player should have respect and appreciation or that team signing him and paying him to play football for that team. Wearing another teams gear is not showing appreciation or respect for what that team has done for him and what those players that have came before him that have also allowed him this opportunity.

I am certain there will be conversation with him about it from his coach. I know certain members of CP wouldn't do anything about it or address the issue but the coach that everyone here knows is a genious and showed that in benching Smith will address it with his QB.

Ironic I know.

It wasn't a big ****ing deal. If it were, you could tell me what you would do about it. Are you going to cut him?

I have been wrong and I have posted some dumb shit in the last 10 years, that's a ****ing shocker right?

I supported Cassel initially and as far as I know that's been my only real fault to be honest.

I would still put my football knowledge and opinions up against you any day of the week, and 2x on Sunday.

So the options are cut him or what he did was OK? Are you ****ing high right now? You cant see that doing something wrong is wrong even if it doesn't get you cut?

JFC dude. I answered your question and you are being an idiot because you seriously have no defense of your opinion at this point.

I'm asking you. I've asked you twice, and you've said nothing other than the same ranting and raving about a baseball cap. What should they do for this heinous misdeed?

It's a non-story that is getting run because people like you live through sports teams and don't realize that these athletes couldn't care less about the shit that you care about.

His teammates aren't going to be pissed at him. If anything, they're going to laugh at him for riling up a bunch of bald guys with goatees who have nothing better to do than bitch about what baseball hat some 23 year old dude they've never met wore to the beach one day.

When a 23 year old QBs the Chiefs to the Superbowl, he can wear a pink bikini with swastikas on it to the beach as far as I'm concerned.

You are a complete and utter moron.

How many times are you going to post the same, dumb, stupid, asinine quote?

I answered the question dude. Can you not read? I said his coach is going to chew his ass, you can bet on it.

And you have no idea about the bolded part, no way to know that. I would be irritated and I am certain many of his teammates are. More about his response than the original act.

I am not nearly as shocked at how stupid Kap is as I am how stupid people on CP are defending him.

Does that register to you?

At this point, you're just arguing with yourself.

Good job.

Good job.

Maybe but you are still wrong. This is an "argument" that 90% of CP and the rest of the NFL fans would find to be on my side.

But yea I'm the dumb one.

You know what, I'm perfectly fine with you thinking I am dumb really.

There are times I wished I was dumber, that would make being a Chiefs fan easier.

Double standard much?

You're doing just fine melding the two.

Actually he's not promoting a competing business. NFL teams, as businesses, don't compete. They work together as a part of a legally sanctioned cartel. So it would be like working at Taco Bell and wearing a Pizza Hut t-shirt while you were on vacation, except that Taco Bell and Pizza Hut actually do compete against each other.

It doesn't register to me because your rants have gone from silly overreactions to incomprehensible ravings.

That's a spot on comparison.

It is another sign of the changing times. People have lost respect.

Can you blame people for losing respect for the Chiefs, and by extension becoming jaded?
