Ideally this happens yes. It didn't and Talib will pay for it.

Mile High Mania 11-09-2015 10:37 AM

Yeah, but look at the penalties that defense has this year... there's something to be said for having a bit of discipline. I love the aggressiveness and the nastiness, but not the bullsh like that or the throat stomp.

It takes away from what has otherwise been really good play by the defense. They fell apart yesterday though, maybe the defense was too caught up in all their great PR and he Manning buzz. They paid the price and a huge one when you consider the playoff seeding ramifications this loss now holds.

The nice thing is that we know that the Broncos will melt down if things don't go their way. They were starting to do it in the Chiefs game when they were losing, because Von Miller, that Malik guy, and that backup linebacker and some other guy all took cheap shots when it looked like they were going to lose. Now they did it against the Colts.

If Denver makes the playoffs, they're going to melt down at the first sign of trouble.

ToxSocks 11-09-2015 11:25 AM

I'm going to be honest here. That's one of the worst cheap shots I've ever seen. That's as bad as Bill Romanowski trying to break the running back's finger, or George Foster diving at the back of the Bengal lineman's knee, or Von Miller killing a prostitute in a crack house.

The league is also reviewing the Aqib Talib eye gouge on #Colts TE Dwayne Allen, which is standard. A crushing blow to Denver regardless

Dude should be suspended a game. Won't happen though.

Valiant 11-09-2015 12:34 PM

Yeah it was blatant.. And his whining is absurd, he thought von was getting head butted? WTF, every players gets face to face like that when jawing.. He went straight in past the guard.

Denver seems to be chippy on defense, and the refs allow it most of the time with small constant late hits.. Come winter and the playoffs I think they are getting a rude awakening... Well some of their smart fans know it is coming..

They still remind me of the soft schedule Chiefs, ride bad teams to the playoffs then get dealt with.

This, along with Von Miller getting a game for trying to crush that lineman's larynx. They'll both just be fined like 15K, and Goodell will host a strippers and blow party during the games this week in New York.

lol, the Broncos have beat the Chiefs like 10 times in a row, I lost count.

They've won the division four years in a row.

He was a very, very good player player, but between his annual injuries and his occasional stupidity I had no problem with BB letting him go (as in not matching the contract Denver gave him). Don't get me wrong, though, I'd be just fine with him being back on the Patriots.

That is funny since I said nothing about comparing the teams..

This just means you know the team this year is a fraud in the weak AFW again with that deflection statement..

Yeah, no surprise. Long after the whistle, not even a situation he was involved in, and obvious intent to injure (or at least be a massive dick).

One game seems right to me too. Not like he ripped his eyeball out or whatever.

There's a reason the guy has bounced around the league his entire career, and it's not a lack of talent.

No doubt... same with guys like Moss, Owens... great players don't just bounce because there were contract disputes. Someone gets tired of their bullsh and let's them walk.

I kinda hope it does for two weeks and then get upheld when they play the Patriots. That game means more than the Chiefs game to them.

Well, you can credit the officials for Denver's only TD. If they don't botch that replay, Denver doesn't score on D.

He's made zero difference. The first penalty drive ended in a punt and the second didn't advance the ball.

On a different note, why arent there harsher penalties for personal fouls inside the 5? Talib had no reason not to face mask there. Car should've gotten something for that beyond a half yard
