Jeff Tuel will start at QB tomorrow for the Bills against the Chiefs. Matt Flynn is the No. 2. Thad Lewis is doubtful

Messier 11-02-2013 08:13 PM

Has Tuel started this year? Or even played in a game yet?

So winning this game will be all about controlling the Bills' O-Line.
If we can keep their run game in check, the boys will be able to tee off on Tuel. They won't have to worry about him beating them with his legs.

I expect to see lots of Spiller/Jackson/Choice and play-action.

He came in the Bills/Browns game and threw a pick 6 to clench it.

I believe Football Outsiders this week said we were the 3rd worst 8-0 team ever.

The catch is the two teams they considered worse were the 06 Colts and last year's Falcons. That Colts team won the Super Bowl and the Falcons were about 5 yards away from getting there.

This isn't college football were we look at Missouri for example and say, "this is fun but we really have no title hopes."

Especially this year, there arent any great teams. Marginal teams are going to get into the postseason this year. Why couldnt we get a bye and a home playoff game and with the defense we have, choke out some team that wouldn't normally be there? Why couldnt that be us?

We aren't talking about winning the lottery here, we are talking about having to play 2 complete games.

Our chances are better this year than they have been since Montana in my estimation, whether you hate our QB or not. A

And the best part is that this is only year 1 of the rebuild.

Beat Ravens 23-20
Lost to Cincinnati in OT 27-24

Unless the D and ST have one stellar, point-compiling day, you ain't gettin' it.

Of course, this COULD be the game...you know, "the game"(purely mythical at this point, but an old west legend started by Trufie the True prior to the invention of the intawebz), where Alex makes me EAT MY OWN SHIT BY THROWING UP 21 OR MORE POINTS!

Jesus, it seems no one on this board understands the concept of timing when it comes to schedules...

I understand that being 8-0 against 2nd and 3rd string QBs is quite an accomplishment. Beating a worthy opponent at least once would be nice though, wouldn't it, ass bleeder?

Timing like when we played Dallas when they were 1-0?

Timing like when we played the Eagles when they were considered decent?

Timing like when we played the Titans when they were 3-1 then went to Seattle and almost beat the Seahawks the week after?

Your fan base must be absolutely sick with all the good fortune the Chiefs have gotten this year, eh?

I mean, if by some stroke of luck we do get the first seed by beating the good teams on our schedule, all those easy wins against the bottom feeders are gonna heat my balls all ****ing winter.

Thank you football Gods!

It would truly be amazing if the stars aligned for a Chiefs Super Bowl run this year...all because of those beautiful second and third-string QBs that made our road to the championship paved with gold and pussy!

Okay then.

First Chargers loss. Texans. They would have had Shuab right? I would have been more than happy for our D to go up against Shaub. He probably would have thrown a couple pick sixes for us, disguising our offense even further.

Second loss. Titans. I assume Locker was still in at this stage, so you have a point with this one.

Third loss. Raiders. This one might actually work against your argument, if Pryor wasn't the starter yet. If Pryor WAS the starter, well, you guys still lost and we didn't.

Okay, let's look at mutual wins.

First win. Eagles. Vick still in. KC by 10, SD by 3.

Second win. KC by 1, SD by 9. Austin out. Fair enough, first game where point margin in SDs favor.

Fourth win. Jags. KC by 26. SD by 18. Not really much use in analyzing this one. both teams likely stopped going 100% once they were up by 20. Only thing could possibly take away is that KC horrible O scored more than SDs much better O. I dunno.

Anyway, good lot of difference timing made.

You're a ****ing moron. We've faced 3 backup quarterbacks. One was making his first start ever...the other 2 were guys that have had some success as starters in the NFL. Jason Campbell and Ryand Fitzpatrick, while not world-beaters, are not complete slouches. In the midst of all of this...we've faced Tony Romo, Eli Manning, Mike Vick, and Terelle Pryor (Who is playing well).

There are other aspects of a team other than the quarterback position. Hell, see the Chiefs for a prime example. We're winning DESPITE getting mediocre quarterback play. Some of the teams that we've beaten, while not boasting great quarterbacks, are still playing solid defense and running the ball well.

Don't be so ****ing butthurt because your team isn't capable of shutting down an opposing offense. We're not winning games because we're playing shitty quarterbacks every week...and to say so shows your football IQ (or lack thereof). We are winning games because our defense reaches into an opposing team's chest, rips their heart out, and eats it in front of their ****ing faces.

You don't get to 8-0 in the NFL by being a bad team. I don't care who you play. If the teams that we've played so far are all so horrible, then why have several of them beaten teams that many consider to be good...including your Syphillis Rivers-lead Chargers?

Dayum. LMAO

Well there's a well, thought out response. Go to bed. Your mom has surely been on you about being up so late. Show some respect to your mother god damnit.

Come on out to Phoenix for the game. Bring your boyfriend. You can slug me. I'll just spit the blood all over your dudes face and force you two to rub that shit all over each other. Then, and I don't care how fat the dude is, I'll just toss a wig on him, roll him over, cover up his tramp stamp with the sheet and hit that shit. You can watch but you've got to promise you will be there for me to finish off. I'll give your boy $500 (I don't need it) to shower over us as you take my glob and give me a reach around. And I better get a ****ing reach around you ****. I'm feeding your narcissism and demand reciprocation! We'll do it again when we play SD.

Till then sweetheart. I think I love you and will be thinking of you.

Douchebag

Sure we've faced backups galore but the talent level at QB isn't that far off from what we've faced, and yes that's a bad thing. After the fab 5 franchise guys it's just a pool of shit that have done nothing but dry hump the league with stats, stats and more STATS! Yay. People say it's a QB league. Yes, of course it is...but it's also a QB starved league. Only about 5 elite.

He's just exploring his sexuality.
It's normal for seven year old's hopped up on sugary treats from Halloween to lash out before bedtime.
