The Rams select:
Bashaud Breeland, CB, Clemson http://img.bleacherreport.net/img/im...00&h=1500&q=85 Classic case of coming out a year too early, but he can still contribute while he learns the position |
Sorry guys Wife called the dinner bell!

Detroit, after going defense early, needs to focus some attention on the offense. Detroit needs to fix the situation at RT.
The Lions select Jack Mewhort - OT - The Ohio State University http://sport-specific-training.com/i...ck_mewhort.jpg |

I'm not much of a hoops fan, but Michigan had a damn solid team this year. They just make too many mistakes. We both know the past few years for OSU have been an aberration in hoops, they usually suck balls. As for Mewhort, I like that he has some potential to line up inside at LG if need be too. |

With the 77th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers select:
Marcus Smith, OLB, Louisville http://media.naplesnews.com/media/im...0bf1b_t607.JPG With the off-season developments of Aldon Smith and his legal troubles, the 49ers won't keep him beyond his rookie contract; it's a high possibility that Aldon Smith spends the 2014 season, and possibly beyond, in jail for his antics. Although they drafted Corey Lemonier in 2013, they still need more insurance at the position. Marcus Smith has all of the measurables that the 49ers look for in an OLB prospect and is a clean and smart prospect off the field to boot. |
With the 78th pick in the 2014 ChiefsPlanet Mock Draft the Dallas Cowboys select:
Paul Richardson WR Colorado http://img.bleacherreport.net/img/im...630&h=420&q=75 |
The Baltimore Ravens must replace Arthur Jones who signed with the Colts as a free agent. With their third round pick they select Will Clarke, DE, WVU.

NY Jets select - Christian Jones, linebacker, Florida State
|
The Dolphins need to continue to bolster the right side of their offensive line. After adding a right tackle in round 2, they go with right guard in round 3.
The Dolphins select Cyril Richardson - OG - Baylor http://beyondthecombine.com/wp-conte...son-Baylor.jpg |
The Chicago Bears select Kareem Martin, defensive end, North Carolina.

The Cleveland Browns select: Marcus Roberson CB Florida |
The Arizona Cardinals select Zach Mettenberger, QB, LSU

Green Bay certainly needs some help in the Middle of their Defense at the Linebacker Position. The Packers select....Shayne Skov, ILB, Stanford. This guy is a tough, smart, productive, and instinctive player for a very stingy Stanford Defense over the past several seasons. There were some Injury concerns over whether or not his ACL was fully Recovered, but he put all that to rest this past Season. He should bode well for Green Bay's Defense.
|
The Eagles select:
Jared Abbrederis, WR, Wisconsin http://buckeyextra.dispatch.com/cont...ederis-620.jpg Could have double dipped at OLB or DB but I really like this kid |
TL;DR my rationale in spoiler tags.
Spoiler!
With their pick in the third round, the Kansas City Chiefs select Jarvis Landry, wide receiver, Louisiana State University. Chiefs fans might be uneasy with yet another receiver out of LSU, with Dwayne Bowe's antics off the field concerning interview talks about "importing" women and late night Sonic runs accompanied by illicit substances and sometimes maddeningly inconsistent plays on the field with untimely drops in big situations with circus catches in others decidedly less game changing. Landry brings a lot to the table for Andy Reid's west coast offense. He's made highlight reel catches in his time in the bayou. A knock on him is his small size, but the Reid and Pederson offense managed to get production out of the much shorter Dexter McCluster in 2013. Landry's propensity to get jammed by the press is outweighed by sure-handedness, route running ability and willingness to block downfield. If he can step into McCluster's role by week one and develop a relationship with Alex Smith as a short-to-intermediate go-to option, Landry can pose matchup problems for secondaries by drawing coverage off of Dwayne Bowe and Donnie Avery as well as alleviate defensive keying-in on Jamaal Charles. In addition, he has the makings of a team-first type of guy that is willing to contribute on special teams which gives Dave Toub options in kick coverage should Junior Hemingway step into more of an offensive role than the swing gunner / 4th-5th receiver option he currently occupies. |
The Bengals add another fatass for depth.
The Cincinnati Bengals select DaQuan Jones, DT, Penn State |
Sorry guys, been out all day playing in a football tournament. My pick will come after I eat some dinner.

With the 89th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the San Diego Chargers select:
Justin Ellis, NT, Louisiana Tech http://www.topsportsreport.com/wp-co...DT_inside1.jpg After losing Cam Thomas in Free Agency, the Chargers need an upgrade at NT for their 3-4 system and take the athletic big man from Louisiana Tech here in the draft. |
The Indy Colts select Dakota Dozier, G, Furman.

The New Orleans Saints Select: Loucheiz Purifoy CB Florida Champ Bailey isn't getting younger who better to learn how to play CB than from a future hall of famer. Tremendous potential with great athletic ability could potential starter. |
With the 92cd overall pick in the 2014 ChiefsPlanet Mock Draft the Carolina Panthers select: OT Billy Turner North Dakota State

My bad....I'll have my pick in a minute.

The New England Patriots select Trai Turner, OG, LSU.

With the 94th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers select:
Telvin Smith, SS, FLorida State http://img.bleacherreport.net/img/im...630&h=420&q=75 After losing Donte Whitner to the Browns in FA and signing Bethea to replace him, the 49ers still need a SS of the future that they can pair with the emerging Eric Reid. The 49ers will do their best to replicate the Legion of Boom by selecting their own highly instinctive 6'3" SS in Telvin Smith. |
The Broncos need to bolster their offensive line to account for the loss of Zane Beadles. Reports have it that Orlando Franklin may move to left guard and Chris Clark will have a shot at the right tackle position. If you ask me, that's quite a few ifs. I think Denver will bring in a guy that they could see competing for either spot.
The Denver Bronchoes select Cameron Fleming - OT - Stanford http://www.paloaltoonline.com/news/p...33543_main.jpg |
The Vikes could use some depth at Running Back behind AP. While still being an Elite RB, Peterson has had quite a few injuries and isn't getting any younger. The dilemma with this pick is which RB to take, seeing as none of them have come off the Board yet. Also, there isn't really that much separating the Top RB in this Draft, from some of the other RBs in this Draft. To be honest, its anyone's guess, as to who the Top RB Prospect in this Draft actually is....it's not very clear cut. That said, the Minnesota Vikings select....Jeremy Hill, RB, LSU. From Top to Bottom, Minnesota Feels that Hill is the most well rounded Player at the RB Position, who has all the tools, to end up being a Feature Back for them in the Future. Until then, he will help to spell AP, when he needs a Breather.

Green Bay did Sign Peppers this Offseason and Re-signed Raji as well. That said, they still aren't sure whether or not Datone Jones (last year's First Round Pick), is the Answer at the other DE spot opposite of Peppers. So the Packers select....Kelcy Quarles, DE, S. Carolina. He should provide good competition for Datone Jones at one of the DE spots. At the very least, he will make for a nice Rotation on Green Bay's D-Line, and will allow the Packers the Versatility if they choose, to also line Peppers up as a Rush Backer on Passing Downs. Quarles, Jones, Raji, Matthews and Peppers have the Ability to create some Problems for opposing QBs. |
Time for the Baltimore Ravens to get in on the WR fun. They select Bruce Ellington, WR/KR, South Carolina.

With the 100th pick in the 2014 NFL draft, the San Francisco 49ers select:
Dominique Easley, DE/DT, Florida http://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/gator.../09/easley.png With the recent developments on their roster, the 49ers decide to add to their front 7 by taking the high character and relentless player in Dominique Easley from Florida. The 49ers are not afraid of his injury history and are quite comfortable in their ability to develop players who suffered bad leg injuries in college (Frank Gore, Ray McDonald, Marcus Latimore, etc). Their hope is that Easley will come in and be able to develop along with Tank Carridine in order to eventually replace the aging Justin Smith and Ray McDonald. With the number of draft picks that the 49ers have in this draft, they can afford to take a risk on this highly talented and driven individual. |
I want to kick whomever assigned me the Jets in the dick.

Arian Foster has Larry Johnson syndrome. Ben Tate is gone. Texans need a RB, and this guy is my favorite RB in the draft.
Houston Texans draft Bishop Sankey, RB, Washington |
The Redskins signed Daryl Sharpton on a 1 year rental contract, but they need competition overall for both ILB positions with Sharpton often injured and Perry Riley playing less than stellar ball last year.
The Washington Redskins select Yawin Smallwood - ILB - Connecticut http://www.betbigdc.com/wp-content/u...rles-Krupa.jpg |
With the 103rd pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons select:
Antonio Richardson, OT, Tennessee http://jeffcity.media.clients.elling...08e3fa67d9af9d Part of the reason why the Falcons were so bad last season was due to poor OL play. The Falcons need an upgrade at their OT position and the talent of Antonio Richardson is too good to pass on at this point. If Richardson can stay healthy, he has a chance to become one of the best OTs to come out of this draft. The Falcons are betting on that potential. |
The NY Jets select Jon Halapilo, guard, Florida

The Jacksonville Jaguars select Marqueston Huff, S, Wyoming.

The Cleveland Browns Select: Tre Mason RB Auburn Yes Cleveland just signed Ben Tate but he has an injury history so need insurance just in case as pest said it's cliche to say this but the talent still available and to get Mason in the fourth is a steal. |
Did I miss something here? Is there a reason that this kid wasn't picked yet?
The Oakland Raiders select Carlos Hyde, RB, Ohio State |
I'm asking the same pest top two RBs in my opinion is tre mason and Carlos Hyde and they were picked after other RBs ???

Cleveland browns picks yes they have more picks but dang this would be a haul:

The Vikings already grabbed a Corner in this Draft, but they would also like to Add another Safety to their Defense. Hence the Minnesota Vikings select....Ed Reynolds, S, Stanford. Lets face it....Jamarca Sanford simply isn't going to suffice as a Strong Safety. Ed Reynolds is a guy who is coming from one of College Football's best Schools, and he shows the versatility to play Free Safety and Strong Safety at the next level. Harrison Smith is already a monster in the Defensive Backfield, but he could use a partner in crime. Reynolds is a tenacious player, with who has great vision and great ball skills to warrant this pick.

ACL tear will sideline him for his first year but it's not like the Bills are headed to the Superbowl this season. They can wait a year for a talent like him. http://a.espncdn.com/photo/2014/0407...kh_600x600.jpg |

The Lions really need to add a guy that can compete for the SOLB position in their defense. There are also rumors out there that they are looking at players that can also provide situational pass rushing ability from that spot.

The Dolphins lack depth in several key areas of strength, and one such spot is at defensive tackle where the pickings are very slim after starters Randy Starks and Jared Odrick. With that said, the Dolphins are going to get a 2nd-3rd round talent at a bargain...

The Pittsburgh Steelers Select: Tom Savage QB Pittsburgh The Rooney family made a mistake because they had an established Qb in Bradshaw and passed on the hometown boy before in Marino. They don't do the same this time and although they have Big Ben they look to the future and draft the immensely talented Savage. Big Ben teaches him for next two years and takes over for him when that time comes whenever that is. |
