Sorry to do that to you. Its the nature of the game I suppose. Florida still has a couple of Corners on the Board you might like? There's one from Clemson too. Any of those three players might be good picks for you.

Need me to post some hoops picks, eh? How about some of those Craft jerseys with O-I-H-O on them?

LaAdrian Waddle was pretty solid for a UDFA but depth is needed. Nice pick.

haha right, Nike is less than reliable I guess. They can't spell Ohio and they made Oregon look like a nighttime road crew. Ugh. :)

I'm not much of a hoops fan, but Michigan had a damn solid team this year. They just make too many mistakes. We both know the past few years for OSU have been an aberration in hoops, they usually suck balls.

As for Mewhort, I like that he has some potential to line up inside at LG if need be too.

Sims would take him under his wing I'm sure. Warford was a BEAST last year.

Yep, the couple players they had that were good are aging. Sims is 30, Raiola 35. So, they have to look at the future of that O-line. They lucked out big time with Warford being so good. Waddle was solid, and he could end up the long-term solution on the right but he only played half a season and they have absolutely nobody to back up either tackle spot. Mewhort can back up OG and OT on either side, so he's a huge plus guy. He could be the answer at RT if Waddle stumbles.

With the 77th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers select:

Marcus Smith, OLB, Louisville

http://media.naplesnews.com/media/im...0bf1b_t607.JPG

With the off-season developments of Aldon Smith and his legal troubles, the 49ers won't keep him beyond his rookie contract; it's a high possibility that Aldon Smith spends the 2014 season, and possibly beyond, in jail for his antics. Although they drafted Corey Lemonier in 2013, they still need more insurance at the position. Marcus Smith has all of the measurables that the 49ers look for in an OLB prospect and is a clean and smart prospect off the field to boot.

Green Bay certainly needs some help in the Middle of their Defense at the Linebacker Position. The Packers select....Shayne Skov, ILB, Stanford. This guy is a tough, smart, productive, and instinctive player for a very stingy Stanford Defense over the past several seasons. There were some Injury concerns over whether or not his ACL was fully Recovered, but he put all that to rest this past Season. He should bode well for Green Bay's Defense.

TL;DR my rationale in spoiler tags.
Spoiler!

With their pick in the third round, the Kansas City Chiefs select Jarvis Landry, wide receiver, Louisiana State University.

Chiefs fans might be uneasy with yet another receiver out of LSU, with Dwayne Bowe's antics off the field concerning interview talks about "importing" women and late night Sonic runs accompanied by illicit substances and sometimes maddeningly inconsistent plays on the field with untimely drops in big situations with circus catches in others decidedly less game changing.

Landry brings a lot to the table for Andy Reid's west coast offense. He's made highlight reel catches in his time in the bayou. A knock on him is his small size, but the Reid and Pederson offense managed to get production out of the much shorter Dexter McCluster in 2013. Landry's propensity to get jammed by the press is outweighed by sure-handedness, route running ability and willingness to block downfield.

If he can step into McCluster's role by week one and develop a relationship with Alex Smith as a short-to-intermediate go-to option, Landry can pose matchup problems for secondaries by drawing coverage off of Dwayne Bowe and Donnie Avery as well as alleviate defensive keying-in on Jamaal Charles.

In addition, he has the makings of a team-first type of guy that is willing to contribute on special teams which gives Dave Toub options in kick coverage should Junior Hemingway step into more of an offensive role than the swing gunner / 4th-5th receiver option he currently occupies.

After losing Donte Whitner to the Browns in FA and signing Bethea to replace him, the 49ers still need a SS of the future that they can pair with the emerging Eric Reid. The 49ers will do their best to replicate the Legion of Boom by selecting their own highly instinctive 6'3" SS in Telvin Smith.

The Broncos need to bolster their offensive line to account for the loss of Zane Beadles. Reports have it that Orlando Franklin may move to left guard and Chris Clark will have a shot at the right tackle position. If you ask me, that's quite a few ifs. The Vikes could use some depth at Running Back behind AP. While still being an Elite RB, Peterson has had quite a few injuries and isn't getting any younger. The dilemma with this pick is which RB to take, seeing as none of them have come off the Board yet. Also, there isn't really that much separating the Top RB in this Draft, from some of the other RBs in this Draft. To be honest, its anyone's guess, as to who the Top RB Prospect in this Draft actually is....it's not very clear cut. That said, the Minnesota Vikings select....Jeremy Hill, RB, LSU. From Top to Bottom, Minnesota Feels that Hill is the most well rounded Player at the RB Position, who has all the tools, to end up being a Feature Back for them in the Future. Until then, he will help to spell AP, when he needs a Breather.

Green Bay did Sign Peppers this Offseason and Re-signed Raji as well. That said, they still aren't sure whether or not Datone Jones (last year's First Round Pick), is the Answer at the other DE spot opposite of Peppers. So the Packers select....Kelcy Quarles, DE, S. Carolina. He should provide good competition for Datone Jones at one of the DE spots. At the very least, he will make for a nice Rotation on Green Bay's D-Line, and will allow the Packers the Versatility if they choose, to also line Peppers up as a Rush Backer on Passing Downs. Quarles, Jones, Raji, Matthews and Peppers have the Ability to create some Problems for opposing QBs.

With the 100th pick in the 2014 NFL draft, the San Francisco 49ers select:

Dominique Easley, DE/DT, Florida

http://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/gator.../09/easley.png

With the recent developments on their roster, the 49ers decide to add to their front 7 by taking the high character and relentless player in Dominique Easley from Florida. The 49ers are not afraid of his injury history and are quite comfortable in their ability to develop players who suffered bad leg injuries in college (Frank Gore, Ray McDonald, Marcus Latimore, etc). Their hope is that Easley will come in and be able to develop along with Tank Carridine in order to eventually replace the aging Justin Smith and Ray McDonald. With the number of draft picks that the 49ers have in this draft, they can afford to take a risk on this highly talented and driven individual.

With the 103rd pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons select:

Antonio Richardson, OT, Tennessee

http://jeffcity.media.clients.elling...08e3fa67d9af9d

Part of the reason why the Falcons were so bad last season was due to poor OL play. The Falcons need an upgrade at their OT position and the talent of Antonio Richardson is too good to pass on at this point. If Richardson can stay healthy, he has a chance to become one of the best OTs to come out of this draft. The Falcons are betting on that potential.

The Vikings already grabbed a Corner in this Draft, but they would also like to Add another Safety to their Defense. Hence the Minnesota Vikings select....Ed Reynolds, S, Stanford. Lets face it....Jamarca Sanford simply isn't going to suffice as a Strong Safety. Ed Reynolds is a guy who is coming from one of College Football's best Schools, and he shows the versatility to play Free Safety and Strong Safety at the next level. Harrison Smith is already a monster in the Defensive Backfield, but he could use a partner in crime. Reynolds is a tenacious player, with who has great vision and great ball skills to warrant this pick.
