I predict ridicule in your near future.

(See pick 38.)

On that point, can someone correct the typo in Austin Booker (Pick 67) to prevent any Ctrl-F misses?

ToxSocks 03-18-2024 03:29 PM

Ok, edited my original post.

RealSNR 03-18-2024 03:33 PM

Fixed Austin Booker's name just in case somebody ctrl-f's Austin and doesn't see him

Duncan sent me his pick already.

The Los Angeles Chargers select Trey Benson, RB, FSU

Couch-Potato 03-18-2024 10:28 PM

The New York Giants select Jaylen Wright, RB, Tennessee.

staylor26 03-19-2024 12:12 AM

The Arizona Cardinals select Renardo Green, CB, FSU

kccrow 03-19-2024 05:49 AM

The New York Jets select Malachi Corley, WR, Western Kentucky.

Couch-Potato 03-19-2024 08:50 AM

Detroit selects Mekhi Wingo, DT, LSU

staylor26 03-19-2024 09:04 AM

Cardinals draft so far:

1. Marvin Harrison Jr.
1. Darius Robinson
2. Graham Barton
3. Ricky Pearsall
3. Renardo Green

With another 3rd round pick still left to go.

They can really do some damage with all of their draft picks. That's why trading down in the 1st makes zero sense.

Exactly, which is why missing out on an elite prospect like Marvin Harrison to trade down and get more picks makes no sense.

They need blue chippers.

Nice! I'm also curious to see if they trade out of that spot or stand put.

O.city 03-19-2024 11:36 AM

Would have liked to have waited here but the board getting picked a bit.

The Atlanta Falcons select DJ James, CB Auburn

RealSNR 03-19-2024 04:19 PM

God this spot suuuuuuuuucks. Everything dried up in like 10 picks. Horrible spot for the Bears. God awful.

The Chicago Bears shrug their shoulders and select Dadrion Taylor-Demerson, S, Texas Tech

Damned near took him for the Jets. I more or less flipped a coin. Good pick.

staylor26 03-19-2024 10:01 PM

I completely forgot that Chargem sent me his pick earlier. That's my fault.

The Denver Broncos select Spencer Rattler, QB, South Carolina

JPH83 03-20-2024 12:53 AM

Now's where it gets tricky. Bit of a risk as I think he's likely a slot only and they have Hobbs, but I'll risk moving the latter out if needs be.

Raiders select Mike Sainristil, CB, Michigan

Hope he's not taken, doing this from my phone so it's hard to check.

Mecca 03-20-2024 11:41 AM

Seahawks Select Jeremiah Trotter Jr, LB, Clemson

Galileo returns to the stage.

https://www.banknoteworld.com/blog/w...al-624x351.png

"In the spirit of double names," he says, "the Cincin Bengals will select a player with double intitials.

"The Cincinnati Bengals select Patrick Paul, OT, Houston"

"And now, let me tell you about the aye aye, a doubly named endangered animal. It's the world's largest nocturnal primate, and it is known for its long middle finger and large eyes. It is a lemur species native to Madagascar, and is frightening to the superstitions of natives there, who believe that it kills people with its middle finger. Of course, more rational minds see the aye aye as an adorable little critter."

With his new pet aye aye on his shoulder, Galileo uses mirrors to signal to the Seahawks that they're on the clock.

Woah!

Cole must finally be getting attention. I have him on my 'really hope we get in the 7th' list. I hadn't seen him going earlier than the 6th as a general rule.

I like him quite a bit - was hoping most of the league had overlooked him.

GloucesterChief 03-21-2024 10:19 AM

The Indianapolis Colts select Max Melton, CB, Rutgers

Long armed fast CB.

the Los Angeles Rams select Theo Johnson, TE, Penn State

Kellerfox 03-21-2024 07:17 PM

The Pittsburgh Steelers select Sederick Van Pran, OC, Georgia

The Steelers likely go center in rounds 1 or 2, they're desperate, but the board didn't fall quite right for me. I did BPA in round 1, and then the top 3 centers all disappeared before I picked again in the 2nd. I screwed the pooch on that one. Now correcting by drafting one of the last prospects in this years class who might be capable of starting day 1.

Just so you remember, the Eagles traded their 3rd rounder to Pittsurgh for Pickett so you'll need to transfer that pick when it comes up.

The Green Bay Packers select Kris Abrams-Draine, CB, Missouri

GloucesterChief 03-22-2024 08:55 AM

I see 4 damn good options for the Chiefs still on the board here. So however it goes, Chargem's still sitting awfully pretty.

Sorry for the delay. Family night.

Something Kyle Shanahan knows a lot about. Just ask him.

Kyle Shanahan emerges on stage, looking even more disheveled than before.

“Ya know wha I din’nt appreshuate about the Super Bool? All the … all the people sayin I wazz drunk. (Hiccup) drunk on Drawin up unstoppbull plaze (hiccup).”

John Lynch and Brandon Aiyuk emerge from the wings. Lynch points and Aiyuk proceeds to block his coach off the stage.

Lynch steps to the podium. “Well, now that we’ve dealt with that unpleasantness, let’s get this family show back on the road, shall we?

The San Francisco 49ers select Javon Baker, WR, UCF.

What, you thought we were taking Jerry’s kid?

staylor26 03-22-2024 10:37 PM

Nice!

Chiefs might have nabbed the 2 best route runners in the draft outside the top 3 WRs.

I'd be excited!

Would be pretty fun having Burton and Walker, I'd be excited about our offense...but I guess this was pre-Sneed trade. Because now I'm thinking a switch back to defense is proooobably needed.

Can confirm I just found out about the Sneed trade from this post you made, so yes. I don't see any CBs on my board I would have wanted here in the 90s anyway I think.

It's command-F on a Mac

I don't want to give away Chiefs draft room secrets here, but if you go to your favorite draft site and start a draft for all 32 teams, you can enter peoples picks and actually have a big board right in front of you while never accidentally making a pick of someone who is already taken.
