I was playing Domination on my buddy's PS3 and some dude got on some crazy kill-streaks. Pave-low after Pave-low. Ended up getting the Nuke right before time ran out and had like a 63 to 14 KD.

I didn't quite understand why the guy used it so early in the game yesterday. Shit, he could have gotten 40+ kills and then used the nuke. I venture to say that he could have gotten 50 of the 75 kills because nobody else on his team was doing shit - yet he used it right at 25 kills. Maybe it was his first and he was excited so he blew his load really quick.

I've come close to getting one, but I don't have it equiped. I might drop the care package out of the equation and go for 9-11-25 and hope that the helicopter gunner can take me from 11 to 25, lol.

I just don't see myself getting many - if any - 25 kill streaks. More than likely, it will be the last one I unlock and I don't know if I'll ever equip it.

Well the way I look at it, if the conditions are right (i.e. not too many people on the opposite team have cold blood) and I get my Pavelow at 9, and that beast gets, say like, 8 kills - I'm sitting at 17. My chopper gunner comes in and I'll need like 8 kills with it (which is hard to do) or if I'm short, I'll need to get 2-3 kills without dying. This sounds a lot easier than it actually is, especially in HTDM when you KNOW some f***er is going to shoot you from the back or around a corner... but, what I'm saying is that it's possible.

Honestly, I think the best kill-streak I've ever got was like 19. But 25 wouldn't be that difficult if you got a chopper gunner at your 11 kill streak, because on an open map those are good for like 8-10 kills easy. Then you just gotta be smart for the next 5 or so kills and you're golden.

I watched my buddy go on a 24 kill rampage once, but he didn't have the nuke unlocked then anyhow, so if he had got to 25 if wouldn't have meant shit.

I'm on a mission to unlock my next killstreak so I can get the Nuke. My K/D is taking a hit because all I was doing last night was running around w/ Marathon and Lightweight trying to get the big bonuses on those. Its not really worth it though.

Heh, I love doing that with a sniper kit and do nothing but knife kills. Since you never fire, you only show on radar when an enemy UAV is up.

ROFL

Been there....done that. I'm still working on Lightweight pro, but when I had them both on I ran around like a chicken with my head cut off. And that doesn't work well in this game. K/D took a big hit.

That's what I do with my sniper kit, except I use Marathon Pro + Cold-Blooded Pro + Ninja Pro. I run around like the wind: nothing but the naked eye can see me (gillie suit makes it harder, though), nothing can hear me.

Except instead of knifing people, I pistol them in the back of the head after sneaking up from behind. It's a good way to level the pistols up.

Lightweight is effective. Lightweight and Marathon, not so much.

COD4 had a flow to it. You knew - or felt - that people would come from certain directions. MW2....not so much. There are so many different ways around the map without being seen that people could be coming at you from any direction at any time. Which is why I think people camp - they just don't know how to move.

Some maps, yeah.

I think Skidrow has the best flow of all the maps of both games, that map is pure genius. Also, I think flow will come as people play more, at least I'm seeing it progress. I'm even starting to see some flow on Karachi now which I didn't think was possible. Favala, IMO, is the only map that will never get a flow going.

Yeah, Favala has no hope for ever attaining any sort of "patrol routes". In COD4, I pretty much picked a route and worked my way back and forth across it. Not little routes, but like on Broadcast I would go through the bathroom, down the hall, through the server room and out into the office area and back through the bathroom again the whole game. I never really went up-stairs at all. I picked out a route for pretty much every map. This game, not so much. Especially Favala, it's just a camper's wet dream.

Mr. Plow 11-25-2009 11:20 AM

After looking through the maps, the only one I haven't played yet is Rust. I'm assuming that is a FFA map only?
