Yeah I have no idea. Just thought it was an interesting graphic, as I was looking at it when you posted the question. Please hold.. *refers to Duncan*

Well, also keep in mind that these are HR trackers and you're throwing a Kauffman overlay on them, but not all of his HRs are hit at home.

He would lose a handful of HR hitting at the K as his home park, most likely, but you're still talking about a consistent 25 HR hitter even if you take a few HR away a year. He's averaged 28 HR a year, even with the horrid 2014 season.

Well, that IS the important thing after all: go all-in for the current season, and don't worry about any future seasons. /Hootie and others

I guess you don't understand Duffy is only under club control for two years ... Still.

The ball flies out of Cincy to all fields. Ball doesn't carry like that in KC

TL; DNR

Basically, Starling compares pretty well with George Springer's path to the majors, even including the struggles at A+ and the strikeout issues last season.

I could handle having an outfield of Gordon, Cain & Starling.

Cueto/Bruce package?

That would be one of the better lineups in all MLB. Of course, the Greinke/Marcum trades did get them to the NLCS in 2011

Yeah but they wouldn't have the mastermind of Ned Yost running the show either.

Meh. Not terribly excited about Jay Bruce but he then gives us 3 guys to fit two positions (RF/DH). Not bad in case Morales falls off the map. Rios has started to hit the ball, albeit with no power at all. Eventually Ned is going to have to start using Dyson as the late inning replacement guy in the field, because Rios has just been awful defensively.

For the life of me, I can't understand why Dyson isn't being used as a late inning replacement more...unless Rios would throw a tantrum over it.

I'm confused.

Why Bruce, but not Parra? Assuming Parra is available.

:banghead:

What does this guy have to do to NOT be in the lineup?

FWIW, here are Bruce's homers this year. The park overlay is Kauffman Stadium. Not sure how much this means, but it looks like three of Bruce's homers elsewhere would be in play at Kauffman. Has to certainly help Bruce that he plays in Cincinnati.

EDIT:
In 2014, he wouldn't have had any of his hr's taken away from KS:

Did you take in account The Gap?

Great American Ballpark

A breeze from the downtown blows through a gap behind home plate, providing a convenient wind tunnel that leads out to centerfield and into the Ohio River.

Peter Gammons reporting "The Red Sox may have at one point discussed Cueto, but the Astros are presently willing to rent the Cincinnati ace. The Royals could be in that boat as well."

He also said we are in the mix for Zobrist as well.

Interest in one doesn't preclude interest in the other. But Bruce is a better offensive player overall.

Apologies if this hasn't been mentioned.

In his last eight games, the Kansas City Royals' All-Star center fielder has done a little bit of everything -- and in some cases, more than a little bit. In that span, Cain has 15 hits, four doubles, four home runs, nine RBIs, nine runs scored and two stolen bases, all while leading Kansas City to seven wins. Since RBI became an official statistic in 1920, only three other American League players can make the same claim.

The AL players who did it prior to 2015: Babe Ruth in 1920, Lou Gehrig in 1927 and Derek Jeter in 2004.

And now, LoCain.
