Also, for those of you a bit thrown off by Joel being completely bedridden then up on his feet and killing/torturing folks within a minute, there was a pretty significant stretch of time in the game before he got up even after the penicillin. After last week's episode felt too drawn out this one felt too compact. Both fantastic but not perfect.

I feel a simple "One Week Later" at the bottom of the screen would have helped. Give him a week with some antibiotics and you could understand why.

Also, I love that Ellie was just "**** it...I'll give him this much". lol

Loved this episode. It had the tension that I missed from the last one and I liked seeing dark Joel do whatever he had to do to get back to Ellie. That was a good way of showing that he's done some ****ed up shit in the past without having to show a flashback or expressly telling us.

I am not familiar with the video game, but without going into spoilers how much new content is available for a season 2?

I was wondering this as well. How far along are we in the video game? Is the first game going to stretch through season 2?

Game 1 will end this weekend with season 1. Game 2 is roughly double the content of the season/game 1. I think I've read they are planning on having the second game be two seasons.

I've heard rumor of a third game, but nothing definitive at all. The second game's ending (which would be Season 3 of the show, as some have mentioned here - which is the prevailing thought, but not yet confirmed) leaves a lot of avenues open to explore. Without spoiling anything, I'd say it's ripe for exploration. Maybe even more so for a cinematic experience than a video game.

I liked the 2nd one but man it hits hard AF and is depressing. I've never played that type of game. I get why some don't like it or what happened in it.

It took them 6 years to do the second game and from what I have read, they have had very basic talks about a third game. As a huge fan of both games, I hope they do not make a third honestly. The second game ended with just enough closure while still being open ended enough for personal speculation I don't think story wise it would be necessary. I think a 3rd game would have to be based around new characters but in the same world.
