Man the love for these RPG's is ridiculous! How much time do you guys devote to this? Hours of gameplay? This reminds me of the Evercrack days! LMAO
Give me a story and a linear goal thank you very much! :thumb: MMO's? I can now view the NERD crowd. Holy shit! **** that shit! Put me in and let's ROCK! Gathering shit for advancement? TOOOOOO much time and BS for a "GAME". |

Now another AAA game release is facing 1st day disaster issues, in Redfall. Stop pre-ordering games, folks.

has anyone here played The War of Rights?
the game looks simultaneously amazing, scary, difficult, and slow. I bet it would be a blast if you get in a server with the right 300 players. |

Art Director for Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Satoru Takizawa said in an interview:
"Making a "wide variety" was pretty challenging. The four Divine Beasts were the dungeons in the last game, and they shared similar designs. This time, the dungeons are huge and each carry their own regional look and feel, just like traditional The Legend of Zelda games. We think they will provide a satisfying challenge for players. They were certainly a challenge to develop." Tomorrow night hype!!!! Just watching the trailer you could see what looks like bosses like the three headed dragon, the flying serpent in the clouds, the giant golem coming out of the wall. |
Tears of the Kingdom leaked early. People with Nintendo Switch emulators have already been playing it for weeks. Many have already beaten the game, before it is even released.
It's getting really good reviews from the pirates so far. |

Playing Tears of the Kingdom on my PC...
Releases on Switch tomorrow. |
I think i might be.....growing out of gaming.
NOOOOOOOO! This can't be happening. I might be....growing up a little bit? **** NO! NO! Only PC game ive played in the past month+ is a couple hours of Forza. I keep trying to console game and nothing holds my attention. I'm legit bored with gaming right now.
|

There are still so many people that haven't gone to next gen on consoles so it feels like we are stuck in this lull period of just kinda waiting it out. I enjoy gaming and I haven't gotten really into anything in awhile. |
I haven't even powered up my PS5 in a month. I just really have no desire to play right now. It's weird because usually I'm micro-managing my time so I have more time to game. For the last 6 weeks or so, I just don't have any motivation to play.
|

I mean I have a back catalog I can play through and all that so it helps but it's eh. I also think the advent of gamepass and the new ps plus options are making game developers question what they're doing. Unless you are making a huge must have game you know is gonna sell a lot of people will just wait till your game hits the sub service. |

I mean, I still game. I'll probably have to burn my man card but I've actually been playing Peggle with my wife on her Series S. |

**** both of them. Took me probably 100+ attempts between the two of them. |
Oh, I also re-played GTA V over the last month or so as well. That game is ****ing incredible.
I pretty much only focused on the main storyline so I’ll move onto some other stuff then do some more exploring. I don’t think I’ve seen half of what that game has to offer. |

I gave it up about 6 months ago (played the PC version). I've collected hundreds of cars. Dozens of properties. Every business in the game. I recently decided to give a go on console only to find that i can't transfer my PC account to Console. Super ****ing lame. |
Late to the party on this one but man is it fun...

I've tried telling all of you disaffected gamers to try out roguelikes. You aren't going to reignite your passion by playing the 7th iteration of some kind of open world AAA created by corporate committee game.

My eternal hope for Half Life 3 is well documented (lol), but I'm not sure if even that game showing up now would be enough to pull me back in. I just.....got over it, I guess? |
It's been getting nice out, weather is improving and so people are more likely to go outside. Naturally, gaming takes a back seat for awhile. See if you're still growing out of gaming when it's below zero for a month back in the dead of winter. lol

CEO Office w/ 30+ cars x3 Floors (so like 90 cars) Night Club (Which houses another, idk 30-40 cars) Arcade ( 10 car garage) Auto Shop (10 car garage) Casino Penthouse (10 Car Garage) Agency (idk, like 30 cars i think) Chop Shop (10 specialty vehicles) Motorcycle Club (10 Motorcycles) Doomsday Shelter (idk, 10+ more?) Arena Race Team Garage (30+) Basic Garage (10 cars) On top of that i have an airport hanger for Helos and planes, a Submarine and a Yacht. I'm probably forgetting some stuff, idk, it's been so so long since ive logged into that account. |

I've still been spending quite a bit of time playing it, though. These games are always such a huge time-suck for me. I've probably already put 10-20 hours in, have only completed the first handful of missions and still have 90% of the map still left to be explored lol |
Fallout 4 is awesome. I loved the story. A lot of good stuff in there ripped off from Terminator and Westworld. Interesting exploring Boston.

At this point in the game's development, Story Mode is really the side game compared to Online. Online is a mammoth in terms of content. Are you playing PC or console version? Im daddy war bucks on PC. On console i don't even own a vehicle yet, let alone businesses and properties. When you're just starting the money grind as a new player online, it can be daunting. It takes a long time to grind money as a new player. The bar for entry is kinda high. But it's an enjoyable experience as long as you focus on all the cool content you're doing, rather than eyeballing your bank account and being impatient. The idea is to make money, then use that money to reinvest in another business to make even more money. The more you invest, the more income. But it could take weeks or more to get your foot in the door to making your first bit of real cash. For example, a new player could spend about an hour playing GTA Online, focused soley on making cash. In that hour, you could probably expect to make about $50K-$100K, assuming you chain missions and successfully complete them all, you know what you're doing etc. It's much more likely however, as a new player, to be on the $50K side of that or less. My OG PC account could grind $3-4M cash in about 2 hours of play time. The more money you've made, the more you invest, the more you make for equal time spent. If this is something that interests you i could go over exactly how to spend your time so that it's maximized. And if you're a PC player, i could even let you in on a slice of my pie to help get you going. |
Lol, GTA Online on PC is a glorious disaster. Just be warned if you play in public lobbies you're almost guaranteed to run into modders.
|
Quote:
I pretty much never play in full lobbies. I'll keep refreshing lobbies until i get one with 5 or less people. GTA V has done some stuff in recent years though to help alleviate the problems modders and griefers present. About a year ago they nerfed the ultimate griefer vehicle, and then created cars that can't be locked on by missle launchers etc. |

Picked up Tears of the Kingdom on Friday. At first I thought some of the new game mechanics were going to be super difficult to use, but they're not bad. It feels like a different game than Breath of the Wild, but with just the right amount of the same stuff BOTW had.
.. I'm loving it so far. |

looking forward to the full gameplay trailer. I'm not a warhammer gamer but I do hope this turns out to be a good RTS because it's coming to PS5 and I would like it if a good RTS comes out. Company of heroes 3 is but it doesn't look all that good.

I've got a little bit of time off due to surgery, so I've been thinking of wasting some of that time gaming. Thinking of either getting Hogwarts Legacy, or Red Dead Redemption 1 or 2 for PS4. I've never played any of those, but the Red Dead looks pretty fun. Sucks that so many people think Hogwarts is terrible, so maybe it's Red Dead.
What say you? |

The RDR franchise may be the best "Story Mode" i ever played. Ever. RDR2's open world is visually stunning. If you love the great outdoors, you can get lost in RDR2 for hours simply riding around horseback, hunting and picking flowers. I use to jump onto RDR2 just to play the card games in the saloons, haha. Yeah, if you haven't played a Red Dead game, you just gotta go that route. RDR2 is obviously gonna be more impressive to look at, and has the online component. The story is great in both, but the 1st one is the 1st one, ya know? (And i know it's not technically the 1st as Red Dead Revolver exists too) |
Quote:
RDR2's story was no slouch either, it was damn good in it's own right. I do wonder though how the experience would differ if you played 2 first. |

My grandparents were completionists though. Couldn't play freakin' Mario Bros or Donkey Kong w/o collecting literally every coin. They were completionist GODS. It was a ****ing nightmare for my 6 year old self to play with them though. Im tryna race through the level as fast as i can and they're all like, "No you gotta go back and get that coin!" **** YO COINS! |

Got super mega baseball 4 premium edition which gets you extra stadiums and 3 day early access (launches officially June 2).
Liking it so far. Graphics upgrade and everything is much smoother. Big difference with sounds. I have surround sound in my game room and you can hear all kinds of crazy stuff through rear speakers. Additionally, lots of new animations with pitchers, umps, foul balls, etc Maybe EA didn’t curse them after all! |
