Sorry this took me awhile to get this on here.

That's a winner folks, a National League pennant winner.

Braun, Fielder, Morgan....a combined 0 for 10 in game 6. "Beast Mode" takes an 0 fer in clutch time.

Least Mode. I was deathly terrified of those rat bastards, but there is no team in the NL I'd rather have delivered the killshot to, and the Phillies were #2 on that list.

Hopefully we'll be able to make it back to the Series soon and **** punt the Red Sox for disgracing the game with their 2004 celebration, but until then, I'll settle for vanquishing another set of Texas scumbags.

Any more tough talking tweets from Tony Flush? Somehow, I'm thinking no.

Don't forget we delivered the killshot to the Cubs back in June.

Congrats on the series win, guys. Over the course of the 6 games, you guys were clearly the better team. Definitely the hotter team. Your ability to continually come up with big hits when there were 2 outs was impressive (and frustrating).

As for us, it's hard to win a series when you commit 7 errors in two games, when you're two best players are 1 for whatever it was in the last two games, and your starting pitching, which carried us all season, turns to crap.

It was a great ride. See you guys again on Opening Day 2012. Good luck against the Rangers! :toast:

This is the playoffs. It's about who is hot. This year its us. Sucks for you guys but we know the pain all too well. In 2004 we were the best team in baseball. Won more than 100 games. Got to the WS and got skunked by the Red Sox buzzsaw.

I have to say its a lot better to be on this side of the situation.

We won 105 games in 2004 and didn't have HFA. That's easily the greatest Cardinal team of my life and the last 40+ years, if not ever. We were the best team in the league the next year, too, and didn't even make it to the WS.

The playoffs are a crapshoot; this year reinforces more than ever.

I think they showed her crying in like the 6th inning with a rally cap on as well.
