All I can think about, though, is my grandpa. He's 89 years old and he is going to die without Missouri doing ANYTHING successful at the national level. I called him about 15 minutes after the loss and I've been pretty despondent since then.

Kinda puts things in perspective. Give the old man a hug. It it isn't like ya'll didn't have a hell of a season. Only one team gets to cut down the nets at the end.

Hell of a season Mizzou and good luck in the future.

Duke taking the heat off Haith, nationally. Still not impressed with Haith today at all though. After the game he seemed to be pretty good with losing. That isn't a good sign.

There's been numerous times in my 52 years as a Mizzou/Chiefs/Royals fan when I've felt depressed, almost suicidal, after what these teams have done to me. It's no wonder just about every lifelong fan of this trilogy of sadness is generally a cynical, bitter, seething with anger pessimist.

My advice to you:

A) Start Drinking Heavily;
