Well, at least Phil isn't going to finish last anymore

The British Open has become too easy for modern pros. If the wind isn't very heavy, these players can dominate these courses. I hate seeing all these low scores in a major.

I normally wouldn't paraphrase Matt Millen, but Oosthuizen is a devout coward.

Yet got busy and missed the end of the match. Watch match. Watching awards now

What did he do other than choke? I woke up at 115pm and it was over.

No way he was trying to go at the pin there with a lead. Good result though.

Definitely blocked that out about 5-8 yards right of his middle green target. Even playing for the slope would have been pretty aggressive with that lead.

Cameron Smith said he wasn't going for the pin afterwards. You have to respect his honesty.

11 putts over the last 9 holes at TPC Sawgrass is straight up gangster shit.

My reaction would have been more surprised than his...then a fist pump followed by deafening laughter.

Then on #18 he hits driver with 3 stroke lead (not horrible) but then he bites off more than he can chew with his layup from the trees and goes into the water. Really bad course management but it didnt matter. Champ.
