I don't consider conference teams to be brethren. **** representing the conference. I know that doesn't make me a very good college sports fan, but whatever.

Point is, I know you all as Chiefs fans. We've suffered a lot of heartache together over these years, and if your college team (no matter its conference) rips your soul out of your body, I absolutely feel for you.

The devastated fans are usually the ones that have never set foot on KU's campus yet are hardcore fans.
