Lofa Tatupu - LB - Seahawks ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Seahawks are planning to release MLB Lofa Tatupu.
Seattle asked Tatupu to take a pay-cut, and he responded by requesting his release. Schefter says the Seahawks are planning to do so "reluctantly." Coming of two knee surgeries, Tatupu won't be able to approach his $4.35 million salary anywhere else. He would probably be best off swallowing his pride and returning to the Seahawks at a reduced rate.
