That's what I have going for me.

Well you are bullet proof then :thumb:

That's where I'm at with the Chiefs. And as hard as I tried not to get caught up in it, I truly believed that this team was special and had a legitimate shot at the FF.

This one hurt. Bad.

I picked you guys to go to the f4 ... Shit happens, just got to remember it's a bunch of kids.

There are no cupcakes anymore in the NCAA Tourney it seems, we got our ass beat by Weber State or some kind of shit one year :shake: It happens

You should be that way with the Huskers too.

No offense Mizzou is a good team but they had some glaring holes.

When I was in my 20's I would watch ACC basketball and if Carolina lost, I would actually lose sleep over it, I can't even imagine doing that now.

Glaring holes to get beat in the sweet 16, but it hurts like hell to have a great team and lose like that...

That was probably the best team Mizzou ever had and for those who don't regularly have success in the tourney, UNC DUKE KANSAS UK etc, it has to hurt that much more but I believe they will be back and they will learn from this.

When the Chiefs lost in the 90's it ruined my whole week.

It's strange that having a shitty team raises my quality of life now.

When KSU lost to A&M in the Big 12 championship in 98' I literally drank for 2 days straight. Good God.

Let's not forget Lawrence bowers, Steve Moore averaged 16 minutes a game this year thanks to that twist of fate. Yeah, KU did so much with so much less. Give me a break.

Well, the Chiefs have actually conditioned me for this shit. A few years ago, I wouldn't have been able to watch any basketball the rest of the tournament.

Right now, I'm watching the KU/Detroit game with my KU fan BIL. I'm over the loss now. Disappointed as hell, but life goes on.

Huh? Nebraska football hasn't approached the level of success that Mizzou had this year in a long time.

Last time I was really sad about a team was the Raiders of course in the SB, but I don't think I will ever get that sad again. I like to talk shit and have fun but there is nothing I can do sitting in my recliner to determine the outcome.

Al Bundy 03-16-2012 08:49 PM

I think the worst loss I have ever experienced was the 99 NFC championship game in St. Loser.

Well all we had to do was beat Michigan to make a BCS game. Neither have the Chiefs.

You HAD to get pissed about the year before in New England. I got pissed, so I can't imagine how you took it.

I think you guys have a good coach and should attract talent there, that's what it's all about in college bb... Hell we send Michael Jordan to kids houses we want at Carolina :)
