Frosty 04-27-2013 03:20 PM

Man, Poyer's Combine really killed him. He was projected as a 2nd rounder. :(

Can we please start looking for QBs that make their teammates better rather than using teammates to make a single player better?

One guy that makes 10 others better is a hell of a lot more efficient than 10 guys designed to make 1 better.

This is two straight regimes that have come in, brought in a mediocre alternative at a high price, and then proceeded to burn through draft picks in a desperate attempt to justify the move. It doesn't work so well.

Which QBs in the draft are those? Seriously, based on your scouting, which QBs are going to make their teammates better?

I love the way they cut away from Bill Polian talking about Renfree to go to Te'o at the SD press conference.

This is like tebow level overhype. I can't think of another player I want to see fail quite this much.

You have to go back pretty far. Even 2010 had Sam Bradford, who is much better than Alex.

Look...I'll be the first to say I'm no expert. But it seems while everyone wants a QB as a draft pick, I'm not sure we would all truly show the patience we claim we have now to let them develop.

Face it....the temperature of this board is "we want it all now"....
