I'm going to celebrate on your behalf Frazod by walking into a restaurant and lighting one up. Then I'm going to blow that smoke into the face of a child.

Congrats to you.

I hit the 6 year mark last month. Don't miss them at all.

Bad time to start again, cigs will soon be over $4/pack thanks to the "change we can all believe in".

That change priced me out of the market, so it's not all bad.

Yes. Unless you count the Trident gum I still relentlessly chew. Never used any nicotine patches or gum or drugs.

I've found that chewing the hell out of many pieces of gum each day is a hell of a lot cheaper and healthier than smoking. I'll buy 12 packs of Orbit every couple of weeks for roughly $10.

I to would love to quit, I heard Chantix (spelling may be wrong) is good, I have been told this by several people here at work. One person said it made her sick but she didn't have the craving. She said you take 1/2 a pill for 2 weeks and smoke the 2 weeks, then after that you quit smoking and go to a whole pill. She said she didn't have a craving and could have quit but the pill itself made her sick.

I am thinking of trying it, although it is said to make some have suicidal and homicidal thoughts. So I am still thinking.....

anyone who has quit tobacco after years of use has homicidal thoughts I can assure you.

Congrats!!

I stopped smoking in 1997, which was a HUGE for me... 12 years this year.

Cigarettes are over $6 a pack here, totally not worth it.
