If that second one sounds young, its not unusual and part of the reason why some people want an international draft. You cant wait for every kid to do something in latin america, a few teams have begun to sign truckloads of teens from latin america based on just potential before other teams get a chance to see them and hope a couple of them work out.

Honestly, what are you talking about? Glass was terrible for a stretch and helped to run this franchise into the ground. EVERYONE AGREES. The last several years, he's been spending money the right way and things are looking up. Everyone should agree with this as well.

You have failed to prove that Glass did this about face with no pressure from other big market owners. A leopard doesn't change his spots.

One version that is widely circulated by the KC media is that DM turned down the job several times, and this was sort of an eye-opening experience for Glass; when he realized that he couldn't even make a hire, he realized that things needed to change.

This is why DM allegedly received some assurances about what would or would not be possible as GM.

Now, I don't think everything DM has expected (or was told to expect) has come to fruition, and the 180 degree difference in draft philosophy from when he took the job to now suggests this.
