People are seriously overreacting to what Branden Albert said. The guy has never been anything but a pro. He's a LT and a damned good one; there's nothing wrong with him saying what he feels his position should be.

This.

How does him saying he won't play RT cost him money?

B Albert deleted his twitter account.

Why haven't you killed yourself yet?

Real people know what he is. He is listening to dumb ****s say ridiculous things about him switching positions, he's a pro and knows better. I could care less if he vents but this is just the way the league works

John Dorsey said that they could still take Joeckel and put the best five linemen on the field wherever they fit.

It's I couldn't care less, and that's not even true based off you saying peace out to him and that not even Bowe says shit like that. What do you mean the way the league works? I highly doubt KC doesn't already know where he stands on this subject.

DeezNutz 03-06-2013 11:33 PM

Albert's play and history with the team have established a certain level of equity, so not a single **** should be given about a few tweets at this point.

If the Chiefs draft over the top of him, it will be gross incompetence.

The law of the NFL is, you are as valuable as what you can contribute to the team.

Saying you're only willing to play 1 spot on the line is a limitation that costs you money in negotiations.

It's one thing to be Johnathan Ogden. It's another thing to be the 9th or 10th LT in the NFL in 2013.
