Josh V wanted Ned to make the dumbass move with Ventura. We had the best relievers who have trained for that spot all season long. Wtf

CoMoChief 09-30-2014 08:47 PM

we all got Yosted.......again

MrGiggity 09-30-2014 08:47 PM

Ned can go sit on a blow torch.

Top it off that he started a game 2 days earlier, and we have Herrera, Davis and holland fresh makes it the dumbest move I've seen an mlb manager make in my life. Texted my family/friends at the game my opinion before the bomb was hit. That decision in an mlb playoff game is 100^ dumb ass. He should be fired for that alone, I don't care if we were 162-0 up until now. He deserves to be run out of town for tonight's decision.

Of course he should be fired but he won't because our GM is a spineless puss. God I hope the Braves GM spot is still open and they ask him

This was the last straw for me. You have Herrera and Davis sitting there in the pen, you have a guy in Shields who had been dealing and is a horse.....and you put in a rookie starter who is strictly a fastball, flyball pitcher with two men on. A guy who threw 70 pitches in a start two days ago. It's really indefensible.

Odds we will actually rid ourselves of Yost after this outing?

Less than 1%.

jimidollar 09-30-2014 09:21 PM

Losing a close game like this makes me hate Yost even more!

Great Expectations 09-30-2014 09:25 PM

Another example of Yost being stupid is not throwing Wade for another inning. He threw 7 pitches.

If we tie it up it'd be nice to have holland left.

jimidollar 09-30-2014 09:26 PM

Yep, Wade should have gone another inning.

tboss27 09-30-2014 11:40 PM

We'll, now I wish I'd used those tickets. Unbelievable win

Not really. Taking a chance of leaving your best reliever is stupid to me. Use what you have. If the game goes to extras, so be it. But there would be no excuse to finish the game and Holland not getting out there. You use your closer top of the 9th in close games. Don't save him just in case there might be extra innings.

Prison Bitch 10-01-2014 12:39 AM

The point was that Davis threw 7 pitches. "Use what you have" means Davis again who frankly is the better player now

teedubya 10-01-2014 12:48 AM

I think that the Royals could win the World Series, and I'd still be mad at Ned Yost. He does some of the dumbest shit. #yosted

The Royals players won in SPITE of Ned Yost's dumbass tonight.
