There isn't one fan that wouldn't love to see Trent Green as the Chiefs QB TODAY. |
QBs the Chiefs have passed on in the draft:
Flacco Rodgers Brees Kaepernick Brady Wilson Dalton Favre Marino Montana Kelly Tanehill? (pick 6 was for sale at a discount) Geno? Manuel? There are ALWAYS excuses. |

No to Ryan or Flacco. We already had Croyle. No to Sanchez and Freeman. "Those guys suck!" (arbitrarily) The 2010 QBs actually sucked dick, and are 1000 times worse than the 2013 class, so no problems there Andy Dalton and Colin Kaepernick were fine, but only if we spent minimal draft stock on them. A 1st round or high 2nd would have been out of the question. Meanwhile Cam Newton was a guaranteed bust according to just about everybody here It's always the same thing. Unless we're piddling away with 3-7 round picks on QBs where the loss is minimal, people don't want the risk. If the risk ever did take place, I think their brains would explode |

That offense scored too fast. It put the D on the field too much.ROFL(Herm actually said that shit) We needed A.Smith he would have kept the D FRESH, and we would still have our first.....RT BAYYBY!!! |

Remember how this board flipped on Matt Stafford once we had no chance to draft him.
|
Thats AT LEAST 11 passed up elite level quarterbacks in the last 30 years.
Thats averaging passing on one every 3 years or less. Should I post the list of guys we chose over those guys, or are you sick enough of facts yet? Drafting the QB (even if he's a "reach", as half of those guys would have been) is ALWAYS the right decision. |

No matter what was said pre draft, Flacco would have INSTANTLY become a TFs favorite player, and, of course, deep down they will have liked him all along. TELL ME I AM WRONG |

Although I do not put them at the same level at all... |
