11 awesome hours. Getting to watch an incredible talent like that still in the early stages of his development will probably be what I remember most about this year (that and the ridiculous Wiggins game against WVU).

FWIW, I feel Self has his best success developing 3-star players.

I hope Tharpe becomes a bench player.

Self seemed shocked. He kinda nonchalantly said everything but he didn't think he should go. First time I've heard Self talk like that.

I'd rather see Tharpe get his head screwed on correctly. He's got talent.

Because staying went so well for Marcus Smart. There's really no question here, he made the right move.

Nothing wrong with competition. If he got let out of his LOI today and Self is visiting him in two days that's saying something. Maybe about Tharpe or maybe about Graham's talent level.

I agree I'm just saying that's how Self sounded. He sounded like a supportive parent though not happy with decision.

Competition is great.

Just the selfish desire to have him return probably. We all had it, I'm sure. But once you look beyond that, there can't be any question what was the best move for him.
