Morton and Boerighter (sp?) both had huge drops in that game on passes right in their hands. That playoff game wasn't won by Indy because their QB outplayed KC's. Indy won because KC's receivers dropped critical passes and Indy's defense was able to force a key fumble.

Didn't see this posted, but appears early in that Abdullah is replacing berry and berry will play more fs

I am not going to dig back through all of the tweets, but I recall seeing a couple of different ones that had Hali and Ford dropping back in coverage against the crossing routes.

Even though Hali is a great pass rusher, I think things like this needed to happen. Sutton has to give guys like Manning something he isn't ready for instead of the same ol' same ol' play after play.

They never really contended for championships.

You live in California, yet are trying dispute what harbs told everyone? Colin Kaepernick was the best player in the draft. That was his guy referred to him by Andrew luck. I live in Wisconsin and i know more than you? No, you are a stubborn know it all who spews his jade opinions as facts. Alex Smith got caught in a numbers game. contact, and kaepernick being jims guy. Period. Those are facts. Just because you refuse to acknowledge them, doesn't discredit them. Dumbass.

So what's all this about Mark Harrison? Just had a good day or has he been impressing since the start of camp?

There was a tweet about Hali breaking up a deep pass to Jenkins in coverage. It reiterated, "yes... Hali."

Sounds like Parker really is going to start at corner. Reid called S. Smith's demotion a 'football decision' instead of correlating it with his arrest.

Please, continue to update us on camp. Eventually this thread will get back on track or someone will start creating separate threads for each day..

I think that would be better, actually. No one even likes mega threads.

Yeah, give that time. Smith will be out there on the first defensive snap at his position against the Titans.

This is what I mean by whole picture. Was their defense solid or porous? There are so many factors that factor into a football game

I don't know if I'd go that far... but I've always thought people on here way, way overrate total passing yards. I'm not going through the whole list... but since 2006 QB's who throw for over 400 yards in a game are something like 21-40.

he's been showing flashes since OTAs.

all he has to do is beat out all the midgets, he's the tallest WR in camp and has a good chance because of his height/measurables if they are looking to get bigger at the position if they feel everyone else is too small. Which they should be.

If Smith was as good as he thought he was, we would have a pro bowl corner, he isn't thus we don't .:hmmm:
