I stayed up till 3 a.m. watching that game last night. Mesmerizing. So many great players I'd love to have on the Royals team. Especially pence.
But I'm pulling for the cubs to win it all. Get that gorilla off their back. |

I'm rooting for the Cubs because all of my Card friends hate the thought of them winning. LMAO Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If you can admit you lost fair and square in the 2015 ALCS, I'll root for the Jays if they play anyone but the Nats or Giants. Deal? |
October is the cruelest month for Kershaw

Raise your hand if you'd rather have had Joe Blanton over Joakim Soria this year

Of course, we also could have had the stones to part with Guthrie or DFA him, as no one would have claimed him from waivers. |
Dusty Baker was too late on the trigger there. A good lefty in the pen and a bunch of LH hitters coming up. Burned him.

Don’t expect Toronto Blue Jays play-by-play voice Jerry Howarth to mention the Indians at all when the two teams meet in the American League Championship Series.
Howarth, the Blue Jays radio voice since 1981, won’t utter the name of Cleveland’s baseball team because he knows it’s offensive to some Native Americans. It’s a stance we’ve seen announcers take in the NFL, where some broadcasters have refused to call Washington’s team the Redskins. This isn’t new-age posturing by Howarth. He’s actually held this stance for more than 20 years, it’s just not something that gets brought up that often. But Howarth was a guest on the Jeff Blair show on SportsNet in Toronto on Tuesday and Blair asked him about it. It was the first time, Howarth said, anyone had brought it up in a long time. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/news/wh...212252590.html |

Does anyone think Danny Duffy could have beaten the BJ's in Toronto?
