Yep. I barely pay attention to the Weather Channel anymore. If you want to talk about sensationalism, THAT is where it's at these days.

Same here in springfield. I've gotten about an inch and a half of rain in my gauge on the back.porch but it's 35 degrees.

Little ice on the grass and such, roads are fine.

You on the north or south side? I heard that a tree fell into a power line in north Springfield (Kearney and Grant area), but don't know if it was necessarily weather related. I'm at work along Primrose, and there's been nothing but rain here. Traffic looks to be moving along just fine, what little traffic there is.
