The Weather Channel absolutely needs to cut this shit out.

Yep. I barely pay attention to the Weather Channel anymore. If you want to talk about sensationalism, THAT is where it's at these days.

This storm is actually giving me a good idea which local weathermen to pay attention to as well.

Gary Lezak has been the only rational one. Boomer Sooner!

It was 72 degrees here Wednesday and has been warm all week its going to take some time for the ground to get cold enough to ice over and it doesn't look to be cold long enough for that to happen.

I hope the same goes for KC.

Same here in springfield. I've gotten about an inch and a half of rain in my gauge on the back.porch but it's 35 degrees.

Little ice on the grass and such, roads are fine.

My flight got delayed a bit. What time is this all starting? I land at 2. Want to take my kid to Dave and Busters and was hoping I had enough time before it starts.

You on the north or south side? I heard that a tree fell into a power line in north Springfield (Kearney and Grant area), but don't know if it was necessarily weather related. I'm at work along Primrose, and there's been nothing but rain here. Traffic looks to be moving along just fine, what little traffic there is.

Rent a Hummer so you guys will be able to navigate the cataclysmic storm. Do not take this lightly, weather people don't play
