The way I see it as an outside observer is KU fans don't respect MU as a serious team.. Kinda the same way I feel about NCSU or FSU.

The high road stuff goes both ways, and it is pretty strange... reading some of the reactions to KU fans celebrating and what not, it's like Missouri fans have completely forgotten about all the crap they fling every time Kansas loses in the tournament. You think this sucks? Do it 3 or 4 more times, then the sides will be even.

Anyway, as far as loving it when rivals lose... I was actually looking forward to watching Missouri match up against Florida and Marquette... 'merely a smile or two' is a good way to put it. I wasn't dancing around in my living room, and I think that video of the KU alum was a bit much, but yeah, I wasn't heartbroken. ;)

When KU had there upsets, I gave a little ribbing to my KU friends at the time....but I certainly did not rub it in. I know Mizzou tourney history, and this lastest loss was not karma, it is merely a continuation of frustration, that dates back most of my life. A lot of Mizzou fans may not remember them, since it took so many years for the team to get back to respectability after Quin Snyder, but I remember Xavier, Rhode Island, Northern Iowa....

Don't need their respect, but just be honest about it.

Good luck to Mizzou in the SEC- I feel for the players and fans after this one.

Why would they?

At the beginning of this year, I fully expected us to be an NIT team, if not worse. They really played well, and made me a believer in Haith.

I'm excited to see what the future will be going forward, which I can truthfully say that I haven't felt that way about Mizzou hoops in a long time.

People just don't know what it's like to be a fan of an Elite program... I basically view Non Elite programs as flash in the pans, but the Elites are good every year, year in and year out...

Not a slam on those teams, it's just as an Elite program fan, you EXPECT to win EVERY game you play and anything less is unacceptable.

I'm curious what you mean by unacceptable.

That means when you are an Elite you make the news when you lose, When you are not an Elite, you make the news when you win..

I don't think that defines what you mean by unacceptable at all. When you refuse to accept the loss, what exactly does that mean?

That means if you beat an Elite Program , you got lucky and we will pound your ass into oblivion for obviously cheating to defeat an Elite, then make you pay for many years to come, humiliating you every chance we get.

I love how I haven't said a thing about this whole situation yet I keep getting brought up over and over again.

Don't ever change bro, don't ever change.

Well, I hope it's now apparent that KU fans aren't THE most arrogant fans in all of college sports.
