I really enjoyed it but it really left me wanting more.

Hopefully in the sequel they bring in one of the old school monster villains.

I really believe that that gareth will bring it in the next one...this one left you wanting more in a good way imo. Dude knows what he is doing

Rumor is they would only be allowed to further Toho characters after the release of the film and upon to permission of the studio head.

They got that.

Apparently they have the full deck to play with come any sequel...

That was clearly his intent and if you've ever watched any Godzilla movie you know (as a kid) you're just waiting and waiting and waiting until he's FINALLY kicking ass.

The biggest complaints about the film are from:

1) People who think there wasn't enough monster vs. monster smashing. Well, go see a Transformers movie. You clearly haven't watched a Godzilla movie before.

2)Not enough Cranston. Well, deal with it. It didn't turn out to be the Cranston tug-fest many fans had hoped for. His performance won't win any awards.

You can either get over that moment in the film or you can't.

The fact you're even arguing that the main character didn't get enough screen time in a Godzilla flick proves how far this director has taken the material...

That's how he makes movies. He keeps you wanting...

I saw it last night, and enjoyed it. I thought it was a lot like the old ones.

JMO, but I think they're going to either have to be slow with the alien civilization trio (Gigan/Megalon/Ghidorah) or give them new backstories. I wouldn't be shocked to see another newly created enemy added to an appearance by Anguirus and/or Mothra.

I've been looking everywhere for a clip of this and finally found it.



I just wish I could find one when he's charging up and everything. So awesome.
