A "million dollar" line is a throwaway. "I bet you a million dollars" is meant to stand on its own. You were trying to build a legitimate case that Priest is washed up, you bet something tangible, you welched, and now you are trying to equate two disparate items.

they're not defective, its just the sign of an old pool. most pools built in the past 10-15 years have multiple drains and/or vent lines to prevent entrapment. The virginia grahm baker act, signed in dec of 2007, and was put into effect in dec of 2008. set a new standard for public pools, that required them to have anti entrapment grates on the drains, by the start of this past year. it was a lot of fun replacing those last spring.
