Comp draft pick(4th rounder?). Cockblock the Bears( who we play). Have an NFL QB who has played more than 10 series of regular season football action. piss off Orton for claiming him.

I say Claim him. We have nothing to lose. Nothing.

Hunt does. Which is why we wont claim him.

#Chiefs Todd Haley does not answer if the team put in a claim on Kyle Orton "anything internally, personnel moves, things like that you know I have to keep in confidence of our walls"

Long version of "We claimed him."

ShowtimeSBMVP 11-23-2011 02:44 PM

I bet the skins put a claim in on him.

Not if Orton doesnt report, which is a big possibility.

Admitting you have a problem is the first step :)

The Stanzi man crush that some have around here amuses the hell out of me. Name me one QB taken in the 5th round or later in the last 15 years (not named Tom Brady) that you'd want over Cassel. Matt Hasselbeck and Marc Bulger in their prime, maybe. That's it.

Stanzi played in a high-profile program in college. He's not some diamond in the rough. Every scout in the NFL knows exactly what he can do, and every team passed on him at least 4 times.

I understand the "Let's see what he's got" mentality, but the fact is that the coaches already have a pretty good idea what he's got. They obviously don't think he's the guy.

LMAO Probably. I totally forgot about something as insignificant as the trade deadline lol

Ok so I hope the Chiefs don't put a claim in for Orton I would rather roll with Palko and Stanzi and end up 4-12 and get a Top 5 draft pick.

I like how everyone says this and then takes out the one person who destroys their argument.

But we get a comp draft pick if we claim him. And if he doesnt report, we still get the pick and we dont have to pay his salary. Plus we **** over the Bears, and Orton. I say go for it.

I'm not buying that he would not report. It would be stupid for him to do that.

If we claim him and he doesn't report, we own him into next season which would ****ing rock because then we can trade his ass and hopefully get *SOMETHING* for him.

I would rather claim him and he not report than not claim him at all.

And I love how everyone uses Tom Brady to assume that every QB taken in the 5th-7th round could be the next Hall of Famer.

BUT TOM BRADY DID IT!
