Running backs are valued lower on Chiefsplanet than elsewhere. However, I tend to agree with Chiefsplanet - running backs tend to be overdrafted, imo.

Sorry guys, never got a PM so I didn't know I was up.
The Tennessee Titans select Chase Thomas, LB, Stanford. |
That's twice in the last couple of days. I know most, if not all of us are men. It's in our nature to forget things. However, for the love of Pete, we need to remember to pm the next gm. If you can make the the pick you certainly can pm or in your post ask for someone to do it for you.
Okay, I'm off the soap box. Happy Good Friday and Easter! |
I need a #3 qb and this kid has gotten big time endorsements by some scouts...a few have likened him to Peyton Manning.
The Buffalo Bills select Sean Renfree, QB, Duke |
The Saints will continue to improve the defense - all draft long, it seems.
They select B.W. Webb, CB, William & Mary This cat is an elite athlete. |
Nightfire made that decision so much easier for me.
I've been hemming and hawing all day on Webb - Nightfyre is right, dude's an amazing athlete. That said - he's pretty small both in height and build. He's also raw as hell and probably can't play press-man; he appears to me to be a pure zone CB and nickle defender. He's a better version of the Honey Badger, which makes him a really nice pick this late, but he's still a little limited at the next level, IMO. So in a league with a dearth of press-man corners, there's one guy that's fallen strangely far, especially for someone that can probably do the job exceptionally well. He's a strong kid and a very good athlete (not quite as good as Webb). He has some level of competition concerns but if he didn't, he damn sure wouldn't have fallen this far. He also had an underwhelming Senior Bowl and ran a good but not great .40 time (though his other drills were great, especially the agility drills) I was probably going to take him over Webb anyway, but Webb's explosion was tempting. In either event, in a spot where the Chargers desperately needed a good developmental CB, they have finally had one fall to them in this years Brandon Carr: Will Davis, CB - Utah State He's probably an early 4th rounder in the real world so I'm happy to get him a round later. |
Make sure you PM ChiefsCountry. He's picking for Miami.
|
I pm'd you! It took a while to compose that pm, though, because it was epic.
