Garbage stats for a garbage TD. The 6-10 club is all you need to know about Dump-it Derek.

You really want to play that game?

Take away Bortle's TD vs Miami. He scored that TD in garbage time, 4th quarter down by more than 2 scores. Apparently that doesn't count.

Take Away Bortle's TD vs Cinci in garbage time, down by more than a touchdown.

Take away both TDs vs the Colts, both scored in garbage time when down by 34 points in the 4th quarter. Those clearly don't count.

Take away the TD vs the Titans. It came late in the 4th quarter, down by more than a TD so it clearly didn't count.

So according to CP's statistics, Blake Bortles has only thrown 3 legitimate TD passes on the season. The rest were garbage.

So how is Derek Carr worse?

The Raiders have won 3 Super Bowls. None of those wins came at the hands of a Raiders 1st round QB pick. Stabler was a 2nd round pick of the Raiders, and Plunkett (2 SB wins) was yet another 'retread'.

Those 99-02 teams were stacked with HOF players and great overall players.

The Raiders won their last SB with a retread QB in 1983. The NFL just doesn't work this way anymore. Times have changed and so have the Raiders. Their trying to draft a QB and meanwhile the Chiefs are trying to do what use to work.

The book is still out on Carr.

Yep, we are trying to play 1980's ball. We played it in the 90's and it didnt even work then! We got what 2 play off wins in the 90's? maybe 3. Last one was in the 93 season in Jan of 94?

Raiders may suck and suck really bad, but at least they are trying with a QB. We are just trying to stay at 7-9 to 10-6 with hopes of squeeking into the play offs. There really hasnt been that many qb's to draft lately though. The one that was out there we completely ****ed that tank job up. lol I still stick by we arent going to be serious contenders for at least 3-5 years.

If the QB doesn't wear red and gold, he's not worth time or mention/CP

They are both terrible. I've never been a Bortles fan.

That just tells me you haven't watched him play at all. He's easily the most impressive of the rookie QBs.

So what you are telling me them is that there aren't any rookie QBs worth a shit....Cool

LMAO it is too early to tell on both players. There is a large consensus through out the NFL that Carr looks like a good prospect. You're simply talking out of your ass~

He sure throws a pretty three-yard check down!

That's going to be a stupid line no matter how many times you post it.

That's just not true. Four of the last ten SB winning QBs were retread QBs.

Warner
Dilfer
Johnson
Brees

Brady
E. Manning
P. Manning
Roethlisberger
Rodgers
Flacco
Wilson

It's not about hard or easy. It's about the data.

Inspiring? Who gives a ****? Like Flacco or Eli are inspiring?

Four of the last 10 SB winning QBs are retreads. Five of the last 10 SB winning QBs were found outside of the draft's first round. That's the data.
