Their problems are more than just those two though Frazier is doing okay anyways. There are four players besides them that get pretty regular playing time batting .214 or lower with OPS below .600. Three of them have OPS below .500. The offense is going to be a problem all season.

It's going to be a problem at the bottom of the lineup. Eaton is one of the best lead off hitters. I'm not a huge Rollins fan but he's a stopgap for our SS in AAA who'll be up soon. Abreu and Frazier both have good track records so I'm not worried about them. Melky has been really hot lately and will be ok in the 5 hole until we can acquire one more bat. Lawrie has been the surprise. He's had a nice season so far. Our catching offense is iffy only because Navarro is off to a slow start. That's where it ends though. Our DH sucks and Jackson doesn't have a great bat. Where Jacksons value comes is in CF, allowing Eaton to move to RF and that's makes our defense so much better. Eaton is one of the tops in DRS so far.
The Sox don't have to be a great hitting team to win because the pitching is outstanding and defense is a lot better. Their pen is also fantastic. I'll take the timely hitting. That's a great thing to have as you all know there in KC. Leads are never safe against Chicago now.
