Surely Drink's not just trying to protect a season of eligibility. If he's as advertised, he's leaving early anyway. Productive SEC quarterbacks tend to leave after a couple good years as a starter unless they don't have NFL tools.

Connor Bazelak gave Michigan all they wanted despite not having an offensive line. Michigan ended up with 7 sacks on the day.
