He wears them long, for some reason. Also noticed the guys wearing padded socks and elbow pads to prevent getting bruised up from being kicked or getting floor burns on the elbows. Dixon and Flip Pressey wear padding. English wears normal socks.

Also noticed Royce White had different colored shoe laces. Red in one, yellow in the other. He seems like a cool dude. And he's a hell of a player.

So I've always watched the guys in that row and have come away with one question:

What's the protocol on eye-banging the Golden Girls from the press row? Sometimes they look like they're not paying attention, sometimes it's obviously they're just trying to look like they're not paying attention. I can't help but feel I'd feel a little bit creepy if I made eye contact with one of those girls from about 8 feet away while my mind was wondering what she'd look like....uh....not dancing.

You just seem set up to fail from that close.

Well, first of all, I'm a 50 year old guy, so I don't harbor any illusions about sweeping a Golden Girl off her feet. They are, however, very attractive girls. A couple of them have tremendous booty.

That said, most of them look for their parents or boyfriend in the crowd, and they all have that fake performance smile working all the time.

When I was 20 back in 1980, I knew a couple of the Golden Girls for real. Most of them go after doctors or lawyers, or date frat boys. I'm sure many have left Mizzou with a serious MRS degree.
