My hatred for Duke far surpasses any of my feelings for Missouri. Although I admit, I did react with enormous laughter when I heard about the Norfolk St. loss after the fact. It still seems inconceivable that it happened, even in this crapshoot. Missouri could probably play that team 10 more times and win every game pretty easily.

If you cant handle some KU fans giving you shit , how the hell do you expect to handle the fanatics in the SEC? As a KU fan, do you know how much shit I took from MU fan those two years we lost to Bucknell and Bradley...not to mention the shit I had to hear after NIU and VCU....this is what happens , you get smack run, you take it like you have a pair of balls and not whimper, and not cry, and not complain like a bitch when it happens. What you're experiencing right now is what schools who achieve to be big time have to go through when they lose...again, if you cant take it go root for a mid major...this is big boy sports son, so either you man the **** up or you go back to the sand box...

Grew up in Columbia...been a Mizzou fan since the 70's...so disappointment is, of course, nothing new to me. Like some others have said, I didn't see this one coming at all. I was at work during the game and was only able to catch the end on my friend's I-Phone.

My feelings towards KU are not uncomplicated. The Tiger fan in me obviously hates the Jayhawks as I hate no other(well except maybe the Donks). But living in KC, I have many friends and co-workers who are just as loyal to Kansas as I am to Mizzou. I want their team to win and I want them to be happy because they're my friends...but I hate Kansas and couldn't root for them if they were playing Al-Queda.

However, I was very impressed that my friends (even my rabid KU fan boss) were all very gracious after the game. Stuff like..."Yeah, I know how it is to lose to a complete unknown in the tourney when you expect to make a deep run...sorry, man. Your team had a great season and will do well in the SEC." "Hang in there, man. You play them twenty times...they may win one."

I appreciated the classy behavior and I'll be sure to remember it the next time KU loses a heartbreaker.
