Missouri and Kansas are now former conference opponents, and since Kansas doesn't want to schedule Missouri any longer, there isn't any reason for one school to judge itself according to the other.

Missouri has a bright athletic future ahead in arguably the nation's premier athletic conference, there will be new rivalries and challenges and history to write.

MU/KU belongs in the 1900s. Leave it there. The future is bright.

Missouri is NOT a football school . I have no clue why MU keeps saying it is , when its not. A football school wins its conference at least ONCE. A football school has a national title at some point and time in its history. A football school has an NFL hall of famer...or at least more than a certain basketball school does. A football school has a BCS bowl win or appearance. Missouri is not a football school, has not been a football school and moving to the SEC wont make them a football school. Yes Missouri has had a successful decade . Yes MU has put a few guys into the NFL , and yes you have beaten KU...but that does not make you a football school. When I think of footballs schools I think of successful schools , who have won their conference, won a BCS bowl ...MU hasn't done that.
