I can't believe you of all people is going to rationalize this. The 49ers 2nd round pick is TWO PICKS ahead of our THIRD ROUNDER. To act like a swap of 2nd rounders makes this trade acceptable is absolutely laughable. |

The 49ers were in the Super Bowl. Their 2nd round pick is TWENTY NINE PICKS after ours. We're trading our 2nd and a conditional next year for Alex Smith and THIRD ROUND PICK. We got ****ing RAPED. |
It's not like the Chiefs have done shit w/ their 2nd round picks anway in recent years. -_-

This is a garbage franchise.

Herm just said on espn that we are having a parade because we are so excited that we have a QB. What a clueless asshole

-290 ------- 270 That's basically a third round pick. Half of what's widely reported. If we truly traded that much for Alex Smith, we better be getting another quality starter in the deal...and NOT a Mike Vrabel level guy. |

Since I know the dream of Geno is dead, now the only thing I can hope for is that the Chiefs somehow get out of the #1 pick, even if for way less than market value, and then continue to trade down to get some more picks in the mid-rounds. If they could pick up some 3rds or something and get down around #20, the could take someone like Rhodes and still have ammo to move around later in the draft and possibly get someone like Manuel or Dysert.
