Probably but we can mash too.

my point was communication is a HUGE PART of throws coming from the outfield...

Assuming the throw is on-line and isn't weak (i.e. clearly no chance), I agree.

I certainly don't think this low-scoring game crap is going to continue.

Same here.

Anyway, I find it annoying that TLR plays closer-by-committee at this point in the season. Whatever, he just showed zero confidence in the most important piece in his bullpen. Good luck with that.

I think he made the right move in pulling Motte.

I think he made the wrong move by putting in Rhodes.

Sure sounds like coach-speak for "Albert botched that play."

"I'm not sure what happened there [Pujols] is a heady player," La Russa said. "Obviously we don't want the back runner to go to second base. I don't know what happened. That's an important extra base."

Mitch Williams commented on MLB Network that TLR seriously focked up there,so much so that he believes he could've destroyed all of Motte's confidence.

This team has done shit we didn't think it could do.

Don't give up on them just yet.

yeah it sucks but on the other hand this team has been facing elimination since August and they have responded. Why should we think that they won;t respond again. No way they got to Texas and lay down or lose all 3 games.

It wasn't like Motte got rocked out there. He gave up a bullshit flare and a single. I don't think he has much of a reason for his confidence to be blown.

A lot of guys share the blame tonight. Albert, for missing the cut off, it sounds like, Motte, for not holding Kinsler on at all, and Tony for going to Rhodes in that situation and then Lynn when you need strikeout pitchers.

Texas is a damn good team. They are not going to go quietly into the good night. We are going to have to scratch and claw to win against these guys.
